Glad you decided to join us helloemi

Boy, I turned the sound on my computer and my IM was dinging like crazy, thought everyone went to bed. Now I am off to delete all of those emails.

pfishgirl: Im sure he will be won over! My df had never been to disney before he met me and he suprised my by proposing at Cinderella's Royal Table...so there is hope for anyone! besides the vow renewal is cheaper than the wedding packages!

And you will become addicted like the rest of us and you will go again, and again, and again. So you don't have to do it ALL this trip! ;)

:lmao: I agree.. but don't we all still try and do it all on one trip even though we have others planned.. :rolleyes1

mommyoftwinfants: I am horribly unprepared for my weddings (eloping on the ship, and in front of family in feb.08) and have realised i only 6 weeks. There is no time for sleep! hehe:coffee: :scared:
I couldnt resist joining! thanks for the invite. I have been a lurker of the cruise board for quite a while :rolleyes1

We looked into the wedding package and that when we both looked at the cost of it and said.. forget it.. :scared1:

But I havent given up hope for the renewal :cloud9: on CC

It must have been some kind of miracle that the dec 8th cruise had rates of 599$ We were booked for a february cruise, cancled that when we decided to elope and booked the december one PLUS the wedding package for the same price as just the feb cruise. :woohoo:

helloemi- your welcome  don't worry everything will fall into place, the best advice I can give is don't let it stress you out, my brother and his wife spent over 100,000 on their wedding and they didn't even get to eat, don't remember who actually showed up and who didn't, everything is really blurry for them, plus they had their parties the night before the wedding...hello of course everything was going to be a blur.

Ladies should we get her addicted to the pirate: too

Im already addicted to DCL and we still have 6 weeks! i have been going on the disney website 3x per day untill i could get us Palo brunch reservations:cheer2:

Just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone. So... hi:wave2:

I've been trying to catch up but I just don't have the time at work and at home I'm busy. :...

Hi back :hippie:

Anyone who has the title "mommy" in their screen name has a permanent pass for not staying up on the boards! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Stop by when you can. We look forward to meeting you onboard!!

Stefanie that looks absolutely amazing, thanks so much for all the work you've put in.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I was thinking this would be more like our "official agenda" rather than a decoration? E.g., something I'd want to have with me in my travel docs rather than on the door. Plus, it's a lot to expect you to print them all on magnet paper. Or am I misunderstanding?

I was actually going to post at some point and ask that my cabin # not be displayed any way, at least in connection with the kids' names or anything that would identify them. (I'd be ok with "coastgirl" and cabin #.) Having not been on a Disney cruise maybe I'm being a worrywart, but in general, I don't have the kids wear shirts with their names, embroider their names on their backpacks or whatever. It'd be different if it were just dh and I. On our decorations, I'll be using their favourite characters rather than their names or pics.

Yes, Stefanie the work is awesome. And please don't worry about printing them out. You can post the final product, or email to us. I think most of us will be carrying them around as a reference.

I also refrain from putting Jasmine's name on her clothes etc. Since we'll be carrying the list around, I wasn't worried about names on the list, but I'm also not opposed to just putting DS or DD for the kids - just in case a list gets lost or something. (Good point Joanne).

We haven't played this game in awhile ......

:cheer2: I just booked my cruise last week!!! My df (disney fiance? im new at this!) and I will be getting married on the ship. It will be our first cruise so we are both very excited/nervous of what to expect. Everyone on these boards seems so nice, so i have no idea why i havent posted sooner!

For our excursions/extras we are doing:
Palo Brunch
French Riviara Beach trip
Exotic Rasul (spa)
Hike, Snorkel, Kayak at Cas Cay
Snorkel equipment rental for CC

Do I have to much planned? Being our first cruise i was scared that if i didnt have plans for the port day we would be lost, or not know what to do. Has any one done any of these exursions before and have any tips for us cruise newbies?

:welcome:

I think you have just about the right amount of stuff planned. Just check on your Castaway Cay excursion, because that may already include the snorkel rental.

Don't worry about not having plans for Port Days. I usually do Caribbean ports on my own. Unless there's something you definitely want to see. The trip over to Trunk Bay in St John is nice. The beach is absolutely gorgeous! St Thomas has some fantastic shopping, but you can get into town on your own for that. St Maarten also has some deals, and the shopping area is right outside the port area.

Have you considered booking the Romantic Escape at Sea? If you do a google search you can probably find descriptions of it online. Also call DCL to find out exactly what it includes.

Congratulations on your wedding!!

ETA: Just saw you booked the Wedding package, so that probably includes the REAS

More Dis' money for you to spend :woohoo: Who can go wrong :confused3
