Yep, real :goodvibes This is me holding one. I didn't notice the claws at all, but my friend got a small scratch on her side holding it right after me.

:thumbsup2 I love that photo! It would make the whole trip to Australia worth it for me, if I could hold a koala bear. They are so cute! What a great trip! :cool1: We've always talked about going to Australia. It is another place to put on our "100 Places to See Before I Die" list. (1,000 just seemed too long!) :rolleyes1

Still need the names for the other Palo ressie and any other meets

If anyone can post a glammy pic of a character in semi-formal wear
:thumbsup2 That looks great! I'll try and find some semi-formal clip art. I am awake early this morning and have the time. For some reason, Will and Emily decided to play air hockey at 1 am. I think they forgot we have a monitor in Cole's room. So, I could hear them upstairs. Now, I am having a hard time going back to sleep! :rolleyes1

I think the Palo Brunch organized by Wendy is on Monday, December 10th. At least, that is what I have on my calendar. If I am wrong, someone please correct me. I DON'T want to miss this "hot" reservation. I find it hard to believe every Palo meal is booked solid. Once, we get the confirmation on the private room for Brunch, there will be at least 12 Palo Brunch reservations open. So, maybe we could give some of those to others in need on here? How would that work?

Edit: I found some "formal" clip art, but no semi-formal clip art. They copied way too big into photobucket. My "technical" support is counting sheep right now. So, I may bother him later to assist me.

If you ever do plan a trip and want to hold a koala, make sure you schedule in a trip to one of the cities in Queensland. This was taken at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (http://www.koala.net/index.htm) right outside Brisbane in Queensland. If you go to a koala sanctuary in New South Wales (Sydney), you won't be able to hold one. The laws in the two states vary with NSW not allowing direct contact. When I went to Sydney 12 years ago, you could hold a stuffed animal that the koala was clinging to, but not actually hold the koala itself. I believe even that has been done away with since I visited.

:thumbsup2 Thank you for the link! I am seriously starting a "100 Places to See Before I Die" list and will put this one on it!

We have to work in Card Games, Board Games, Cigar Smoking, Conyac, Shuffle Board.. Although days and times may be hard to really plan til we get there..

We are "game" for the cigars and cognac. We are doing our Palo dinner on Wednesday. So, would Thursday evening work for the cognac & cigars for anyone else? Plus, I figured some of you would be getting your cigars onshore and have them by then to "enjoy". Which bar onboard allowed cigars? I believe Angie knew?

Also, did anyone figure out how/when to get everyone together for a "group" photo on Embarkation, Pirate Night and Formal Night?

Brack: Did you have the folks from Shutters take your photos or someone in the group? I'd hate for someone to be excluded because they were the "photographer". How did you do it last time?

If you can't tell, I am either really organized or anal. I think it is a fine line sometimes. :lmao: (and Bill no wise comments! ;) )

 I have a lot of questions this morning. . . I look forward to your responses, when you get up. :lmao:

I knew I liked Bill! We have gotten the RV, now we just need to sell this house so we can retire and travel the country! Perhaps someday we will see you along the road!
I laughed aloud (I am doing that a lot lately reading this thread!) visualizing Bill driving one of those big RVs (tour bus size). We're going one way down the highway and y'all are going the other and Dennis honks your horn . . . "When You Wish Upon A Star". :rotfl:

FYI: someone mentioned on the other cruise site that he is scheduled for Brunch on Sunday in the "private room" with his TA and others. Does that mean Angie and her group got bumped from the private room or is there more than one Brunch sitting?

- Jennifer

Okay, now I really am going to bed! :cloud9:

I believe in another Post, Angie had said that DCL is to get back to her at a certain date before the cruise.. 45 days? 30 days ? I'd have to go back to look.. :surfweb:

The Adult Cove Bar Place will allow Cigars since it is outside.. At least that is where I have seen people smoke Cigars & Pipes

Palo still shows Dinner is available.. at least for 1-2 quests.. Cause that is the count in our room..

Question: Is anyone bringing Christmas / Holiday attire to have Christmas Cards or Holiday Pictures taken??

I'm debating do with add "festive" clothing to our suitcases or save the space for merchandise.. ;)

DS informed me before he left this morning for school that I am to Call the orthdontist today and he wants the Pallet Expander OUT of his mouth Now!!

Poor kid, his mouth is so sore that he can't eat any solid food.. He cuts up food into tiny little pieces and just swallows it in order to fill his stomach..

He had soup and Milkshakes for meals yesterday

:guilty:

Seems like such a shame to leave less the 25 posts away.. :sad2: But I can't think of anything worth while to say...

Going to look for ANgie's post about Palo to try and help you all out..

Looks like DH & I won't be doing a Brunch or High Tea this trip :guilty: Unless they open up when we get there..

Does Palo offer a waiting list? :confused3

by the way, went to AC Moore yesterday and bought a Lime Green Tshirt
but I dont know how to do iron on thingys so I'm not sure how I will decorate it.. I did buy these crayon type things.. You draw your picture then use an iron to melt it into the fabric.. :confused3 Anyone ever try them?

I'm so uncrafty :sad2:

Ever wonder what happens to the people who starts threads and then you hardly see them.. Or people saying they are joining you on a specific date and then never hearing from them again...

I went pack to page 1 of this thread and start reading all the pre-me posts.. There are names I've never seen here..

Off Topic:

I just started a thread on the Community board...

I am so mad that I am receiving Spam texts to my cell phone.. I am paying for these.. My plan only has 1,000 texts a month
