Wow, sorry we missed all the fun last night! I'll update the blog later today with Cruise's THREE

!! (Congratulations) And Sweetpeas GTY rm, which room is the Staffords?
Jasmine will be disappointed to hear about the game. Her Dad is from Buffalo, so they are both Bills fans.
Jasmine you'd better stay up 'cause I see a gang of pirates on the horizon. Be prepared Matey!
I'll show this to her if I can ever drag her out of bed...
That's my DW!
This last time I had her at least check us into the VWL. I told her just in case I died she needed to know how to do somethings for a vacation.
So...I feel like such a newbie. Is my family the only one who's never cruised before?
And seeing as you're all so "experienced"

I'm checking my reservation online madly--with a GTY room, I still have to wait for about a month to get a room assignment right?
Off to tuck in ds and wrest the book from his hands.
I used to be a TA in a former life. I've been on 19 cruises, 4 of them
DCL. And I've learned more on this board than I can tell you. You will be well prepared! And we all obssessively check the website - at least I do! Makes me feel better just to see my reservation!
I'm calling it an early night tonight. Maybe some sleep will help. I think I'll probably pay a visit to the doctor tomorrow, since now I've got a fever to go with the coughing, sneezing and sore throat.

Yes, please take care of yourself!
When you enter the terminal and head up the escalators they give you a number. Supposedly the numbers are by the time you arrive. However, last year we were there at 10:30 and got a number 6. There were folks entering at the same time given 2. Seemed the person at one escalator had a stack of numbers and the person at the other escalator had a much higher stack. But, we had DIS friends who gave us a nubmer 3 because they were invited to board with the suites by another DISer.

Love the DIS
We are planning on leaving POR at 1100, if they are still giving out numbers when we get there, I'll have DSis and DB get boarding numbers for their cabins. Since we're in a Suite, Jas and I will get Boarding Card #1, and can take the rest of the family with us. So we'll be happy to pass the other boarding cards onto other DISers who may have a higher number. You've all seen Jasmine's picture, so I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding us!
Nope, we have never cruised before either.
You will LOVE it!! And you're welcome to bring your boys along when Jasmine shows Joanne's kids around the Oceaneer Club.
Well I must pull Jas out of bed, she's got a checkup at the clinic this morning. I think I'll see if they can give me something for my headache while I'm there. I took an Ambien so I could sleep, but the headache is just hanging on.
I'll be back later....
