I'm here, DH came home with Dunkin Donuts Coffee

He was talking to me about the new electrical panel and I told him about the phone I got, checking up on DS..

Now he is cleaning up the basement

So... life has decided to take a big ole chunk out of my hindquarters.

Was all set last night with the quote for this cruise... got the TA to offer an On Board Credit... printed it all out, put on my sequined formal gown and presented it to DH a la Vanna White. He asks me one question.... just *one*.... which I go to look up on my computer, only to find out my computer has imploded.

So, he stayed up till 2am reformating it and reinstalling Windows, etc. I've been told to test drive it today and see if it holds or see if it shuts itself down again. If it bites the dust again today, we go out tonight to buy a new computer. If it holds, I can request another quote for the cruise. But he's saying the money is only going to one or the other.

I'm kinda bummed

Good luck with the computer!!! We are pulling for you.

So does Dunkin Donuts still rule the roost where you live when it comes to coffee or is Starbucks starting to take over there as well? Jennifer's dad is from MA and is a die hard Dunkin Donuts coffee drinker but he called us a few weeks ago from Starbucks. We were both shocked. I guess it is only inevitable at the rate they build them.

We're going to be staying at the "Nick Hotel" for two days after we debark. I've read some good and some bad reviews about it... hopefully we will have fun.

Do ya'll know we are actually thinking of not going to WDW this time around. Tickets are just eating into our budget and we are back to that issue with the Pre-K again.

We aren't going to any of the theme parks this time either. I've used way too many days of leave since I've been in Belgium.

We'll fly in 2 days earlier and just enjoy DTD and Disney Quest. I figure it'll be nice and leisurely and a good way to get over the jet lag.

See, I'm not sure which Pooh_Girl and I are looking forward too the most: The cruise or our stay on property AFTER the cruise!! It's our first cruise and our first real vacation since our honeymoon in 2004, so we are doing this one BIG! We're going on a 7 day cruise and then going to the Contemporary with a MK view for 2 days afterwards. Just a special treat to each other.

Ok, jumping in on the coffee thing...in Canada Tim Horton's rules! My first ever job was pouring coffee and selling donuts. We have seen a few in New England, but there's a very active, won't-die thread on the Canadian trip planning board lamenting Fl's lack of Tim's and the possibility of installing one in the Canada Pavilion...

Wow..that is a while. Enjoy the time together and try and forget all the nonsense that takes place outside the nurturing world of Disney.

Even though it is only 1 night, this will be our first time to spend time at the House of the Mouse AFTER a cruise. We always felt the cruise was a nice way to decompress from the chaos of WDW but I am hopeful that since we are not going the week of Thanksgiving again (I know...not the smartest plan ), the crowds will be much more bearable. It should be also be nice to have one more day of "magic" before the long drive home.

That was the same thought WE had Bill!!! I'm sure Tina is going to be crying like a baby whenever we leave the ship and she'll be kicking and screaming , so I wanted to give her SOMETHING to look forward to after the cruise. Kind of like, "ok we're not going home......" and then two days later, "Ok, NOW we are."
