Oh, and I got an email late Friday night notifying me that the HD LCD TV I ordered is on the way... Should get it by the end of the week.

I wasn't planning on getting an HD TV until everything was fully switched, as I didn't want to have to deal with loving HD channels and not liking the other 90% that aren't in HD. But now that our primary TV is starting to have issues, I had to start looking at new ones. I figured, might as well get HD now, and with my company's partnership with Sharp, I got a great deal on their new models of Aquos.

Sounds like fun! :happytv:

I have to tell ya; Pooh_Girl and I read this at the same time and I think we both had a heart attack.

Irresponsible? Maybe. But that just means we'll have to be extra careful when we're down there, that's all.

Sorry about that...yikes!

I wouldn't call it irresponsible. Everyone has to prioritize, and you're making an informed decision. Plus you're still young and healthy. :cool1:

6 pages... I had to go back 6 whole pages... :sad2:

Congrats on your pirate:

Hope some of you got Lunch and some of you went Back to bed!!

DH & DS went to the Mets game.. Never made it, due to an accident on the bridge.. DH listened on the radio.. Heard that the score was already 7 - 0 Mets losing soooooooooo they never even parked.. He turned around and started for home...

DH is calling as I was typing this up.. BRB...

Ohhhhhhhhh we are going to Ha Na Japanese Steak House for Habatchie dinner

Back Later..

:dance3:

weird... they **** out the Ha Botch E so I had to spell it wrong :confused3

I bought the cutest pirate princess outfit for dd today. She's a little confused as she has a Kim Possible outfit for Hallowe'en but she's not arguing with Mommy buying her fun stuff. Also got a cuuuuute little Christmassy dress for her with a forest-green stretchy velour top (long sleeve) and a lighter green gauzy sort of skirt. Hope it's not too warm for her to wear it for formal night. princess: I'd much rather buy clothes for my princess than for myself.

Just stopping in for a minute between chores (again)! We're finally taking down the pool, weeding the garden, picking the last of the tomatoes and peppers, finishing the work on the kitchen, doing laundry and just trying to get caught up on "stuff".

We enjoyed the fund-raiser last night. It was a Chinese auction. DS is thrilled--he won an autographed poster of Jonathan Vilma (sp?), who is apparently a football player. It will be a "Santa gift" for Shannan (our granddaughter, aged 7). Last year, her favorite gift from Santa, next to her hamster, was a football autographed by Wayne Chrebet. She and her daddy watch football together all the time, and she loves it. I came home with a beautiful cookbook, a gift-certificate to a local ice cream place, and a basket full of lovely scented candles, potpourri and silk flowers. DDIL came home with a gorgeous two-foot tall fully decorated Christmas tree donated by one of the fancier decorators in town. All in all, it was a good night, and the food was good too!

Now it's off to cook dinner and get ready for work tomorrow, walk the dogs (3 of them), feed the cats (4), the guinea pigs (2), the hamster (1) and countless numbers of guppies!

I'm always cold in the dinning rooms on the ship so Long Sleeves should be good.. It sounds beautiful..

I have three distractions over here. . . Will, Emily and Cole. :dance3:
They bother me for silly things like food and water. Just kidding. Right now, they are bothering me to make cookies before it gets too late. So, I am off for now. . .

:cool1: Angie - Have a great Anniversary Party! :cool1:

:cloud9: Evening All! :cloud9:

- Jennifer

Busy weekend for us. We had about 70 some guests, renewed our vows with a minister we love, had a karoke/DJ, danced, ate and Dennis sang. A few tears, many hugs. Best friend came from Idaho and he took photos for us. Dennis' sis and hubby came from Southen Cal, nieces and nephews from Washington and local family and friends.

Our anniversary is not until next weekend, but we plan to take the MH out for a couple of nights to celebrate so the group decided to party the week before.

21 of us went to breakfast this morning, unannounced at our local fav breakfast restaurant. They had us seated within 30 min on a busy Sunday morning, got the orders correct and did it with a smile.

DS still here from AZ, he just arrived here after spending the day with his best friend. So...I'll catch up tomorrow - or the next day. Gotta go visit with my boy!

Another fun topic. Name five movies that no matter how many times they are on, you will sit down and watch them again. Here are just five (there are many more) of mine in no particular order.

The Shawshank Redemption
Raising Arizona
Blazing Saddles
Jaws
Misery

Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein
Dune
Star Trek (any of them)
Pirates of the Caribbean

So what is everyone's ALL-TIME FAVORITE Disney movie?????

Mine would have to be Cinderella!!!
Love it!!!!

Fantasia :confused3 I know I'm probably the only one in the world!
