OMG. Has anyone else been following the "gastroporn" thread, "Pictures of DCL food"? (It's only as lascivious as Wendy getting Knocked Up, really. ) http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=21360270#post21360270 I am sooooo ready for this trip! Even the kids' pudding cup has been "tarted up" to look luxurious.

I was looking at those earlier.... ... dangerous for those of us trying to diet before the cruise!
But it will be oh so worth it when i am enjoying that midnight dessert buffet! YUM!!!

We are planning on doing as much shopping as possible at DTD before we board. Then hopefully they'll have some great deals on 2007 stuff onboard.

The scrapbooks and photo albums were half price last Dec.

For my 1000th post, I just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed getting to know all of you over the past few months, weeks, and days.

It's great how our group has bonded together, and I can't wait to meet all of you in December.

Also, I bought some postcards. I think we decided to do hometown postcards. Are we going to give them out at our first DISmeet?

I planned to drop the postcards in the stockings. Not everyone will make it to the meet. But you could give them to those that are there.

Are you going to add this to your blog?

My only hesitation would be to make sure that the folks who have kids who are too young for the club are comfortable with this. I just don't want anyone to feel left out.

I'll put Rockin Bar D on the blog as a place to meet up each night, and we can add an earlier "family" meet also if we want to...

It's been a couple of years since we cruised, but I think we went to the tree lighting before we went to the evening show, so that would have been just before the time for main dining, since we're "late diners".

As far as time/place for meet, the bar is low down on our list of places to go (smoking is still allowed in there at night, right ?), but if that's where we're doing the picture, we'll show up. I can't guarantee that we'll have our eyes open at 11 PM, though--we're early birds!

As far as sharing pictures, I'll have my computer available for copying pictures onto CD's or for copying from cards and flash drives if anyone needs/wants to do that. I'll also be posting a lot of pictures on my website once I get back to WDW after the cruise.

Stacy: I miss Mark and John too! And I miss the reruns that Channel 7 used to run every Saturday night (back in the days when I could stay awake past 10 PM). But I think I've seen every episode ever made!

Coastgirl: I've been following that gastroporn thing! I never remember to take pictures of the food before I eat it. I don't think that meat photographs very well, but the rest of it looks really good, especially the desserts. We have never eaten a bite at the dessert buffets. We're always too stuffed from dinner! I was just looking at that thread while I ate my cottage cheese and pineapples for lunch.

I got my DCL DVD about two weeks ago, and it disappeared in a frenzy of housecleaning. It just turned up again last night, so I think I may settle in with it tonight. I need a really good cruise fix!

OK, I've got to get back to work again!

Okay, I looked at the Navigators from Sept 29th. If we want to do 10pm in Studio Sea, then the kids can be there also for the Karaoke and family dance parties.

Otherwise if we want to do a later meet, then how about 11pm in Rockin' Bar D? That's when they'll have all the fun grown up parties and games!

11 is a little late for us. We are early to bed, early to rise folks.....well, at least I am.

Is any one else packing their mickey ears? I don't know when i will wear mine, but they seem neccesary!

I took out a ton of stuff just to make them fit..

Coastgirl: I ordered my wedding dress and then did a bit of stress eating I have a bit of work to do before the big day!
Other wise the holidays are pretty much a useless time to diet!
