Ooooh sorry to hear that. I usually get DH to clean it up. :rotfl: She doing better? (sorry if you've already answered this) Is everyone else feeling OK?

Me too. Dh actually got up with her first. I am not very good about hearing them in the night,,LOL!!!!!!!!

Went to the dr. today for my check up I have an infection .. I now feel awfull!!!!!!!!!!

As the pound seems to be on the slide, I thought I would pay a bit more of the cruise off, we still have a year and a bit, but we might not get $2 to the £ for a time, or even again! We have fallen against the euro as well to an all time low.

Sounds like a good idea, although I've got the balance of the PC Repo to pay off first.

Soccer is good! Both of my kids play (DS 3 years so far and DD 2 years) but I don't think they'll play anymore. :confused3 Last year for both of them was miserable so I guess it just isn't their thing. Darn, I was liking being a soccer mom!!

May I ask why it was miserable?

OOOh gosh we have all been there call me if you need/want to talk tonight!!!!!!!!! I'm home Abby!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won't be home tonight but I may need to call ya this weekend. Went to doc today and am having surgery. I'll e-mail you later with details. DH is off my $%#@ list now. There was one thing he could do to make my surgery easier but earlier today he said no. Now he says yes. So I guess I gotta give him that. :)

OH NO!! That was goinng to be my next post, asking how it went. That could explain why you are feeling so lousy and recovery is taking longer!!!! Hopefully drugs (what did he put you on?) will do the trick and you'll be feeling better very soon.

We like the Signature rest., but sometimes my DD and I share meals so we have stayed with the DDE card. Still opened in the future to try DD.

Denise

That's an excellent idea! :thumbsup2

Neither of my kids are competitive. But as long as they say they want to play a sport then we sign them up. We'll let them try anything so they can hopefully find something they like. DS's league this year was much more competitive than the last two years and while he did well when he would get into the games, most of the time he did not want to be out there. DD also moved up to a different league, and she hated every second of it and would barely play. But our rule is, if they start a season they have to finish it. It was an excrutiating season all around!!! DS said he wanted to play again next fall but we'll see. DD says she is DONE with soccer. lol She does however want to play t-ball. This is the first year she is eligible. DS on the other hand says he's also done with baseball. (played for 3 years). He currently plays basketball and seems to like it. And they both want to try Aikido. There are family classes close by so I may join them both. DS did try karate when he was 4 but that was a mistake. He was too young. Anyway, we don't force them to play anything but we do encourage them to be in activities.

Has anyone heard about the missing (presumed dead) pregnant marine? She is from our town. We don't know the family but this is a small place and I'm sure is going to hit here hard. It's so sad............

(NY Redbulls are the closest)....

Ex-Villa player Juan Pablo Angel player is doing OK there methinks... :thumbsup2

...Internationally - it's a mixed bag in our house. I follow Celtic (my Scottish heritage) though everyone else follows A.C. Milan (DW's Italian heritage)...
Great teams - particularly excited for AC Milan if they get Didier Drogba in this transfer window... :goodvibes

...As for our favorite Premier League team - it is Everton. Long story - but we have a very good friend over there and that's his favorite team and we've been following and watching them now (doesn't hurt that their keeper, Tim Howard is from NJ either!). My boys are probably two of the few kids in the U.S. that can be seen sporting an Everton kit!

Everton have been very consistent over the past few seasons - currently they are Aston Villa's rivals so obviously can't say too much!! But I think the Cahill/Arteta combo is very exciting to watch and hope Andy Johnson scores more as he is a talented player not fulfilling his potential at the mo... Good luck for the Carling Cup semi-final... :thumbsup2

And now I've bored myself so I'll shut up now... ;)

Karen-

What are you doing on here? Didn't you have date night tonight?!

Date was a luverlee meal at a local French restaurant - managed to sneak back on the WWW as DH watches pre-match preview of tomorrow's soccer games... ;)
