I think we want to get a deep fryer. Are you ever going to try a Turkey in it??

The two recipes sound GREAT I will have to try them out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No Turkey in this one, its a small counter sized one. The Tfal one with the built in fillter and oil storage area

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Uh huh huh huh huh Are you threatening me? I am cornholeo, I need TP for my bunghole.

Sorry! I am sitting here cracking up. I loved Beavis and Butthead. Maybe because I am a metal girl. Metallica rules!

Oh my gosh the cornholeo comment is too funny. DH does the best interpertation of Beavis and Butthead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY I GOT 1,800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOH!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, the boards are slooooooooooow tonight!!!!!!! DH just got home from work. I need to go and tell him what went on here today before I go to sleep....

Talk to you all tomorrow..........

UGH..........I've been trying to pep talk myself into getting back in the workout habit so I won't be much help to you. If you actually have been getting on that treadmill then more power to ya! Doesn't working out this late make you more awake? I try to do it as close to getting home from work as possible, otherwise I'm bouncing off the walls.

When I was doing the treadmill before I hurt my knee,( in late 2006 I fell down a flight of stair and reputed my quad tendon). I did the same thing in 1998 to my other knee, so now I have a matched pair.

I'm ok now for the most part.

I was doing it right before work in the morning Our company has a mini workout room with one treadmill, a couple of workout bikes and a nautilus type machine.

I need to get back to my routine, but I just don't feel the motivation. At one point I was, walking over 10,000 steps a day. now I'm lucky if I doing 3000 steps a day.

We go thru a phase with Caitlin every year, she is very bright, but see's school more of a social place sometimes. The teachers and us know she can do the work, but if she's not interested in an item she takes the easy path. Now if she gets interested in something then she digs in.

She was an early reader and does great with her reading level and writing of stories, but math dosent interest her and she lags behind in her math facts.

It seems to be one or the other I guess. Hayden tested borderline gifted in sciences, social studies, and some math concepts. But in reading/writing, and other math concepts he was terrible. Oh how wonderful it would be if they were able to do well at all of it!

The unit we have is too small to fry a turkey. It is one of those counter top ones I have a Tfal unit , with a built in filter and oil storage area.

OUCH! It's rough to get sidelined from an injury! I have no excuse, other than Dis'ing. (does that count?) Well also it's winter, hibernation mode kicks in. Yeah, I'm trying to come up with good excuses. On that note, it's time to hibernate for the night! 5:30 comes around too quickly. Good night!

They tested Caitlin twice for the Gifted program.
After the first one, the teachers kept an eye on her and that led to the second test.

She was on the borderline both times, and on her CMT near the top in reading and writing, but math has been her problem. She love science this year

Yes. This is going to get interesting. I wonder if he and Edie will end up back together.......... Thank goodness our lives aren't as tv. :rotfl2:

Speak for yourself I live on Wysteria Lane...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

In my town there is a Wisteria Lane. I died laughing the first time I drove by it and saw the street sign.

Getting sidelined wasn't the worst part, Due to it, I ended up putting back on the weight I lost. I am so pissed at myself, but I still can't bring myself to start it again.

I loved Cornjulio! "uh...we're gonna score..." they were hysterical.

Thank you! I'd hate to see where he'd be if we didn't work our buns off for him, because he's not doing too well. We are facing the possibility that he'll be repeating this year over, which will be horrible because he would then be a 9 year old 2nd grader, since we didn't start him in kindergarten until he was 6. And he's also taller than just about all the kids his age. At this point we are doing everything we know to do though, and his school and pediatrician are WONDERFUL doing everything they are able to do for him. It's tough. But on the flip side, he is a wonderful boy, and ironically very intelligent according to testing he had done last year. He just can't concentrate in school. If that's the worst thing that is happening then I'll take it!
Love your attitude, Abby! And there's nothing like having a wonderful son - I'm lucky, I have two... :lovestruc Sending you oodles of pixiedust: that he doesn't have to repeat the year...

You are awesome for letting him dive! It is an expensive hobby!!! When DS is old enough I'd like to get him into it. I need a dive buddy! DH is certified but we have never actually been diving together. He did it before I came along!

I actually can't bear to think about it too much as I'm terrified of the whole underwater thing... :sad2: Samuel had a free intro lesson in a swimming pool about 4 years ago and it went from there. He doesn't even mind the studying aspect - I guess it just shows what a difference 'relevant and meaningful' makes... ;)

Never Kristin!! I kind of like you all..... :teeth:  Seriously though, I couldn't do my next cruise with another group. It wouldn't feel right. I can't wait to meet all of you! :grouphug:
:thumbsup2
OOOH good. Bad for the other group but good for us.... I know we have just all connected./ I can't wait to meet all of you too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I agree with all of the above... ::yes::
