I watch way too much TV- I won't be on here much after next week(yeah right) All of my fave shows are getting ready to start again. American Idol, Survivor, Big Brother, all of the MTV reality shows.(notice the reality show trend, LOL) Anyway I TIVO everything and watch it after my DD goes to bed.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE BB!! I am thrilled it is coming back so early this year. Who is your all-time favorite player? I love Janell because she's so ditzy but a great competitor. I also watch AI but am not as consistent about it as I used to be.

Does anyone know why sometimes on the list of active threads sometime I notice ours is in bold print and other times its not?

I always thought that the bold print threads were updated since the time of my last visit.

Just pop in whenever you can! I know what you mean. 99% of my work is on a computer, so between work and home I spend about 10+ hours a day looking at a monitor. No wonder my eyesight is getting so lousy!

I pop in often! DIS at the time of the night seems the slowest to me - perhaps it's "peak" time or something - figuring 11PM on the East Coast and 8PM on the West?! If I get a bout of insomnia or something perhaps I'll be up when the folks from the UK are busy posting!

This is what they had to say about our thread.
Some of them are one the Aug 22 cruise.

The next post 45585 was from on board the ship.
aka the blabbermouth cruise group It will be a push but I think we can do it.

The dolphin excursion in Tortola sounds great!

It does, doesn't it! Not sure what I will do - I know DS will want to do the the wreck of the Rhone dive - it's listed as one of the top 10 dive sites in the world!! I guess it's possible DH will do that too...

The best time to get on for me is usually around 5:30 am. The system is never bogged down that early! But nobody else is on at that time so it's a little lonely.

I would seriously love to dive on this trip but I haven't been diving in 12 years. On my past dive trips I was lucky enough to have good friends at a dive shop who let me borrow most of my equipment, but not anymore. Does your DS have all of his equipment?

No, we just hire all the necessary stuff as he's still a growing boy! He dives every summer in Southern Spain so is all up-to-date with his accreditation. He's hoping to dive on the Mexican Riviera cruise in August too...

There's no way we can keep pace with some of you guys! Barely enough time to keep up!

I spent virtually my entire work day on the computer typing out our annual performance reviews. I have 15 people to review and although the process is on our intranet it's still time consuming and tedious. I try to not get overwhelmed so that I can accurately and fairly rate my staff. I'm trying to avoiding my home computer so I don't go nuts - or ruin my eyes!

I truly can sympathize! I have to do only 5 reviews and I dread that time of year. Thankfully I am done now until Oct. !!!! Good luck!

Yay another reality junkie. I too watch American Idol, Survivor, Big Brother, a bunch of the MTV ones (the realworld/road rules challenges are my favorite), Jon and Kate plus 8, American Gladiators, America's top model, Amazing race, Extreme makeover home addition, and a bunch more I can't think of right now.

I watch (and love) ANTM! Also enjoy Project Runway, the chef one (Top Chef?) and The Apprentice. BB has occasionally kept my interest but the current Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack isn't doing anything for me... We have a range of personal makeover shows - my fave being How To Look Good Naked! I think you guys in the US are getting this too in January...

My DS(12) and I have been fans of The Apprentice - he has his mind set on becoming a wealthy entrepreneur someday though I've tried to tell him that most of what he is seeing on that show is edited and really doesn't give the entire picture of what "reality" is in the business world! It's television, right?!
