Hey Andrew!

Hoz it goin'? It seems Kristen has invited me an' my family to sail with ya here! And so I'm lookin' into it. The timing seems good and well ... Tortula sounds like a nice change of pace! So - remember when you clipped 11,000 postings? Well... you ANIMAL! Look were you are NOW!

And Kristen...

Thank You again for the invite. It certainly fits our calandar as far as I can tell. We'll look into booking this and sort through the rest of the details later! Friday nite chat was fun with ya on the board. And Costa was not all THAT bad. Nor was it really an amazing bargain either.

OK... I gotta go now fer the nite...

Adios!

Very interesting!

We were all for taking the kids out of school in Oct. but then after we got back, it was so difficult to get DS back on track. He struggles with school alot, so we decided after this last trip that we'd keep vacations to summer time. DD did fine getting back into the swing of it though. I work in accounting for a concrete company, have been an accounting peon for 11 years. I was a travel agent in my former life. LOL Do you work outside of the home?

Wow thats weird. I majored in Travel in college (never became an agent though) and now I work in Accounting also (20 years in A/P)

Funny!! What made you decide to go into accounting instead of travel? I am also in A/P. I did A/R for 9 years then switched to A/P 2 years ago. I like A/P much better. I think it's way more challenging and stressful but there is alot of versatility to it.

Thanks Kristin! I had to get my last minute Disboard fix before we head out. We are putting on a Santa Shop for the kids to buy presents for their families. My kids are shopping and helping me work it.

Have a good morning!

Kind of a long story, but when I was out of college and looking for a job, I had two interviews one in travel and one as an office clerk in a book store paying much better. I figured I would start as the office clerk while I found a better travel job, a year later I became the office clerk in the accounting office of the same bookstore and that grew from there. I was at that bookstore for 14 years doing mostly A/P, but some A/R and then left and became an A/P Supervisor at another company and after three years changed jobs again for a better commute. A/P is challenging, it seems a lot of people don't relize that it is not just data entry and running checks, but a LOT of problem solving. That is my favorite part!

I've been away for a day or so and what a busy group!! This should be a fun trip!!
