My DS will be 9, almost 10. I may give him a little more freedom this time, especially if he is hanging around with other Dis kids we've gotten to know before hand. Plus now that we've already sailed, we feel we know the ship pretty well. I guess it depends how much more he matures in the next 19 months.

I expect Caitlin will be fine to have some freedom on board. Just may need to get some two way radio's

We are already granting her some leaway at home.

I've never been a big fan for wrist bands

If not wrist bands then maybe something else? My DH wouldn't wear his except for the first day. I couldn't blame him. He is not one to join a thread and meet people prior, so I think he may have been uncomfortable thinking people he didn't know would come up to him because of the wrist band.

My DW is simular, she is fine when she gets comtfable around new people but dosn't understand the need to talk on the bulletin boards like this,

You still have snow?! Ours is almost all melted. Has the warm air gotten to your area yet?

Our rec is kind of like a YMCA, huge pool, gym, weight area, workout class rooms, walking track, etc. It is also where all of our town youth sports leagues are. It's great. Membership is one of our big yearly splurges because it's such a great place to go. But we don't go as often as we should.........:jumping1:

Sounds like a FUN place..............

Most of our snow is melted Bruce took them out before it is all gone before it warms up this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was it FUN!!!!???????!!!!!!!!!! Do you have the High School Musical Songs in your head or what?? "What time is it?????" "It's Summer-Time!!!!!!!!"

It was two shows in one

The first half was from HSM 1, After the intermission it was HSM2

Started at 3 and ended about 4:45, Each half was about 45-50 mins and then the break inbetween.

It was good show. The ice stakes were fine, not Stars on ICE caliber but they didnt fall and were good.

Were all in this together.....

They had the usual teashirts and lighted items, They had a booth set up where you could have your picture taken with cutouts of the stars

The show program was $20.00 we passed on that, but I found one on the way out someone had dropped. It was ok not many picutes of the ice show, more shots from both movies. It was called the directors cut, behind the scenes

I bet my kids will want a t-shirt...I bought them one at the Disney Store to give them when I gve them the tickets..But I am sure they will want another one....They will want their pictures taken with the cut-outs. Sounds like it will not be as expensive as the Hannah Montana Concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you talking about my DH or yours?? :rotfl: My DH didn't do any of the Dis meets, he is a little shy. He was kind of upset about the linked dining and actually eating with strangers, but after meeting the family we sat with, he enjoyed himself. He said he would like to sit with someone this time too. :goodvibes

I know it is really far in advance, but is anyone thinking of parasailing? I want to do it, DH won't, and I don't think my DD will be old enough.

I did it last time and had a great time, Haven't given it any thought if I do it again.
