Mel-

If it makes you feel any better, my son's album is only done until the time we brought him home from the hospital and my daughter's is when she was six months old. :rotfl: And I got my wedding album done but not the reception. I am queen of unifinished scrapbooking projects!

Digital might be the perfect way for me to go because I have a terrible time coming up with layout color ideas and combinations.

Have you been back to your doctor recently? I'm thinking about you, hoping the baby decides to come soon!

I had a midwife appointment this morning - here in the UK a lot of maternity care is led by midwives except when there are unusual complications. I am booked in for an elective caesarean section on Monday 7th January as my daughter ended up being an emergency c section and I didn't want a repeat of that!!

All looked well when the midwife came this morning, so just waiting for the next 9 days to pass!

MEL,

Good Luck..GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weather is dull and damp here, nights are now long, although we have passed the shortest day, all familiy trying to recover from the Flu, so best just to stay indoors and chill.

Andrew, I don't think you need to chill, with the flu doesn't that come naturally:rotfl2:

Feel better my friend.

OK, one more post then I'll stop!! Since 2007 is almost over, what moments/events will make 2007 stand out most to you? This could be a good way to get to know eachother more.

-My first Disney cruise! (by far the highlight of my year)
-My first tattoo (generally not a big deal but for me it was)
-DS being diagnosed with ADD and struggling to figure out how to deal with this. And boy are we still struggling.

Other than that, my 2007 was quite uneventful. And uneventful can definitely be a good thing!

Uneventful can certainly be a good thing!!! We always seem so busy, but when looking back on 2007 I think uneventful might be the best way to describe it!

The highlights for us:

  • DS(8) and the soccer team I coach went undefeated and won their tournament championship.
  • DS(8) having an outstanding soccer season.
  • DS(12) made some awesome strides in swimming. At the 2007 NJ State Championship meet he had personal bests in 7 events, cutting a team-high 45 total seconds off in all his events.
  • Trip to Hilton Head
  • Making it to WDW in November.

Looking forward to a happy & healthy 2008!!

What sorts of New Years Eve plans does everyone have? We are leaving for Hershey, PA for 3 days. They have a big family NYE package that we went to for the first time last year.

 Caitlinsdad- We had to go to the dump today as well, I had 6 lawn trash bags and alot of boxes to go.:goodvibes

I started taking down my Christmas stuff, not much left!!:cool1: I love scrapbooking. I am halfway done with my WDW and DCL books from September!! I have been obsessed since 1995!! Love it. I am semi caught up-I am behind about 8-10 months. :goodvibes

Thanks everyone so far for sharing your highlights/events etc.!

Hershey sounds fun! That is one place I would like to take the kids sometime. We are going to the Cincinnati Zoo Monday night and I also bought tickets for the Polar Express 4-D movie there. Then we are spending the night in Cinci and going to the Newport Aquarium on Tuesday. I have never been to either places so I am looking forward to the trip.

Just about every Saturday is dump run day for me , Well maybe dump is to low class for this town, its now called a recycling center. You still bring your trash here, but you need to put the cardboard, paper and cans in different bins.

It will always be a dump to me :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Nikki-

How do you do it?!

We were supposed to take down the decorations last night but will tonight instead. It'll be nice to have the house back to normal.
