How did the Bathroom fixture hunt go today?

Oh have fun, and be prepared for a large cost too.

We did that a few years ago, and our bathroom isn't that large, but between the tile and fixtures it was over 4 grand, that didn't include the tub, sink or toliet

It was such FUN.. It was fun to go in and pick it all out and pay nothing. It is all included in the price the contractor quoted us... I'm soo happy with what we picked out.........

How did the Bathroom fixture hunt go today?

Got all the faucets, for the sinks, the tub, shower valve, all of the tile, the tile for the bathroom floor, and the jacuzzi tub, and the floor in the four seasons room. Going to do something really really cool a pattern around the floor so I do not cover it with a rug. Since the heat is going to be in the floor. Plus, the bathroom cabinets too. So we even got some paint swatches toooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not wait to get up in the morning and be able to step on the bathroom floor and have it be warm. It really was only about 700 dollars more to have the heat in the floor !!!!!!!!!!!

The call before you dig people came out today. We just have to wait for the phone company to come out and mark it and then they will begin digging,...,,.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another cloudless blue, blue sky here today - in fact, if it wasn't for the leafless trees and bushes, I swear it looks like the height of summer out there!!! Except, having been outside to chase my Dalmatian back indoors, I know it isn't - brrrrr!!!

The Dal is currently experiencing separation anxiety as her girlfriend (the Old English Sheepdog) has been taken to the vets for her annual immunisations. The upshot is she's howling like a banshee and no amount of kindness or threatening gestures seem to stop her!!! It's an unholy row....

My secretary today asked me if I believed in UFOs?!? I'm hoping the mother ship returns for her soon and takes her back....

She just walked in and asked me... with that deer in the headlights look she's got! Had to be there to get the full effect though!

My DH was talking about secretaries at dinner - he got so peeved with the politics of it all (his secretary was very protective) that he decided to abandon working from his office and return to the main floor. Much to her chagrin, he insisted his secretary came with him. He then acquired two more secretaries and between them, they do work for the entire team...

Ours was broken by a contractor who was installing flooring in our home. He had to do a good portion of the job over again, as well as replace the water line.

I'm currently having second thoughts about our basement plans - seems to me it would be cheaper to have a 2 storey addition built across the back of the house. Sooo I'm going to need to chat about that with someone - SOON!!!!
