OMG!! So many pages to read!!:scared1:
I can't catch up now but hope everyone is doing well!!

We just got back from our trip to WDW this past week and we had fun but boy was it crowed!!!! It was like high season.
We think it was because of a few reasons. Looks like WDW must have gave some kind of deals to families from Brazil ( about 50% of people were from there in the parks) then alot of cheerleading groups and other large groups.
It was crazy but still fun.
We did a rebook for BB for next Aug. Don't know if we can go but better to hold onto the booking.:rotfl: since we could get the BB offer. I am never lucky enough to get a pin code, email or post card offer.:sad1:

Anyway our Birthday boy had fun turning 8 on this trip!! And his brother had fun also! We all did. We didn't win a dream like we did last Aug. but thats ok, we feel lucky to have at least win one the 1s time!!:yay: :woohoo:

Whats up with everyone and hope you all had a nice holiday weekend!!:goodvibes

Hellooo!!!! Sounds like you had a great time - surprised it was so busy but all year round seems to be busy at WDW nowadays... ;)

Work sucks today.... sitting on a conference call..... my secretary is stoooopid (I know that's not nice or appropriate, but she's driving me nuts today).

Anyone else having fun today?

Ahh, Harry!!! Sounds like just another day in office paradise... ;) My DH has had 'issues' with a secretary a while ago and it proved such a drain on his time and energy. He didn't realise how bad it was until he employed his current secretary - she makes life easier, not harder!!! :headache:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: What we are not doing enough to make this place lively :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Is this dancin' fruit lively enough for ya????????????????????

I got a 5am wake up call from our service desk( some users in India) couldn't connect to web server.

Then when I got into work, more applications decided they didn't want to play well together this morning. Here it is noon, and only now have I had a chance to slow down.

Only another 5 hrs to go :sad2:

Poor you, Ed!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Hope you're having a good afternoon/evening... :goodvibes

To help us laugh a little today

Three sons left home, went out on their own and prospered. Getting back together, they discussed the gifts they were able to give their elderly Mother.
The first said, "I built a big house for our Mother." The second said, "I sent her a Mercedes with a driver." The third smiled and said, "I've got you both beat. You remember how Mom enjoyed reading the Bible? And you know she can't see very well any more. I sent her a remarkable parrot that recites the entire Bible. It took Elders in the church 12 years to teach him. He's one of a kind. Mama just has to name the chapter and verse, and the parrot recites it."
Soon thereafter, Mom sent out her letters of thanks: "Milton," she wrote one son, "the house you built is so huge. I live in only one room, but I have to clean the whole house."
"Gerald," she wrote to another, "I am too old to travel any more. My eyesight isn't what it used to be. I stay most of the time at home, so I rarely use the Mercedes. And the driver is so rude!"
"Dearest Donald," she wrote to her third son, "you have the good sense to know what your Mother likes. The chicken was delicious!"

A mother and her child were at a wedding.
A little boy looks at his mom and says, "Mommy, why does the girl wear white?"
His mom replies, "The bride is in white because she's happy and this is the happiest day of her life."
The boy thinks about this, and then says, "Well then, why is the boy wearing black?"

David received a parrot for his birthday. This parrot was fully grown with a bad attitude and worse vocabulary. Every other word was an expletive. Those that weren't expletives were, to say the least, rude.
David tried hard to change the bird's attitude and was constantly saying polite words, playing soft music, and anything else that came to mind. Nothing worked. He yelled at the bird and the bird got worse. He shook the bird and the bird got madder and ruder.
Finally, in a moment of desperation, David put the parrot in the freezer. For a few moments he heard the bird squawking, kicking and screaming and then, suddenly, all was quiet.
David, frightened that he might have actually hurt the bird, quickly opened the freezer door. The parrot calmly stepped out onto David's extended arm and said, "I'm sorry that I offended you with my language and actions. I ask for your forgiveness."
David was astounded at the bird's change in attitude and was about to ask what changed him when the parrot continued, "May I ask what the chicken did?"

Hey everyone! I'm back early today. Didn't make it to Dallas. :confused3 The roads around here are really bad today. Didn't realize it until I got out but I figured I would try it anyway since I had arranged the day off and everything else. Well after I was about 15 miles out, had slid over a bridge once, and saw 6 accidents (there were flashing lights everywhere I looked) I decided to turn around and come home. It took me almost 2 hrs just for the 30 miles roundtrip :scared1: I am sooo ready for :sunny: , I HATE the cold!!

Oh no!!!! OMG, Tonya, sounds awful - you did the right thing, milady!!! Glad you're home safe and sound...

It took DH a looong time to get rid of her..........Good Luck with that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took DH a while to get rid of his - as I recall, a human resources minefield... ;)

...Mine is going from OK to bad. Our poor doggie is nearing his end I think. He can barely get up today, which is a really bad thing obviously. I coaxed him up to go outside when I got home and he's sort of dragging his hind paws. If he gets to the point he can no longer get up then we'll have to put him down. We don't want him to finish his days humiliated because he can't do his business where he is supposed to, and there is no way we can carry him in and out to do it. He's a 100lb dog. So I think we are facing a tough decision very soon. It breaks my heart. He has been the best dog I have ever had, and he has been around with my DH longer than I have. So with the "us" (me, the kids), he's always been a presence here. I keep telling him it's OK. If he's ready to go it's OK. We've been very fortunate because he is 14 years old. Quite old for a lab I think. :sad1:

Oh Abby, I feel for you guys, I really do!!!   Sounds like he's going the same way as our old Boxer and in the end my DH took the decision that it was all about the dog's quality of life - I know it upset our boy that he couldn't do what was expected of him and so my DH took him to the vet. It's breaking my heart just remembering, but that's the thing about dogs - they give so much and sometimes we have to step up and thank them in the hardest way possible... OK I'm rambling AND blubbing - enough said...

Hello...nope about 15 miles out I had to turn around and come back.:scared1: I am about 220 miles west of Dallas.

OMG that's a long old journey - even if the weather conditions were perfect!!!!
