Helllooo everyone!!! Seems like we're another week closer to sampling that Tortola rum... :drinking: :woohoo: :cheer2: :yay:

Thank you, whats even more sad this Brother and I are not that close
She passed away on the 10th and I didn't hear about it until the 15th.

and that was only because my other Brother called me with the news.:sad2:

That's sad, Ed...

...I am a complete MP3 illiterate. So after I buy one, how do I get music on it?! Go to their websites and pay to download, copy my CD's onto it, what? :confused3 Also what kinds of earbuds are best? Bose maybe? (I've heard the earbuds that normally come with them aren't the greatest.) I wanted an MP3 for Christmas but Santa wanted to bring me an el cheapo one that I didn't want, so I told Santa what he could do with his MP3 player. ;) Just kidding!!

TBH I've always found the standard iPod ones fine - my DH and DS have Bose ones but, for me, the extra expense isn't worth it...

...We get out sometimes and it is very rare...So when we can get our sitter we have her but I really do not like to leave the kids I know we are weird. But we really only trust my parents so no we do not get out as much as I would like too. But that is o.k. My Aunt likes to come and watch them too so that is good......

No, you're not weird! When my big kids were little, we rarely went out together as we moved a long way from our families and had no babysitting back-up that I felt comfortable with. IMO, your kids are precious so it makes sense you wouldn't want to leave them... :grouphug: Later, when they were older, we'd go out if my MIL came to stay with us so she could watch them - but TBH I didn't even like that and when we had our 3rd child, we just waited until our eldest daughter was old enough to babysit. That worked for us... :goodvibes

I'm biased towards Apple products....

Same here! :thumbsup2 They are IMO things of beauty... :goodvibes

...with the iPod you can download tv shows, movies, music videos, etc. etc. You can actually go to Apple.com and download iTunes on to your PC and check it out there (you can listen to your music and watch your shows on your PC, too). It can get expensive though - all that downloading (my staff gives me iTunes cards for XMAS, etc. so that helps!!). We were huge Napster fans years ago when it was free and "illegal"!
I still do a bit of cheeky downloading now and again via Limewire... :rolleyes1

...DW calls me and tells me I need to stop and pick up pizza for some extra kids! DS had two friends over (brothers) and they were going to be over for awhile. There was no school today (teacher in-service day) and DW received a call from their mother who received a dx of breast cancer this morning. She was in a bind with her boys so we took them for the day. Cancer sucks - to be blunt...

Sorry to hear that, Harry! Poor woman - I hope she gets thro' it OK...

...Cancer sucks - to be blunt...

Yes it does... :sad2:

The last couple of years , we have done 3 or 4 Broadway shows a year.

Xmas show - at Radio City,

I try to do something special about every month to six weeks.

That's a good idea! We live so near to central London we should get to a show more often... :thumbsup2
