Ah the things we do for our kids.
I know I'm always thinking, I sure hope Caitlin remembers these special events when she grows up.

I agree.. I know we def. over indulge our kids~~ but they're sooo worth it..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends on what we're shopping for! A family trip to say the mall though - I can think of a lot of better ways to torture myself.

Yes, I can relate to that as well. I try to avoid situations where I have to be chasing around a restless preschooler! She's already playing soccer so she's happier to participate than just sit around and watch, too.

IMO mall shopping is a nightmare any day. But I'm not a shopper anyway. My time limit is about an hour, same as the kids. Last Sunday I sucked it up and took DD to Build A Bear and the Disney store. She LOVES the mall.

The last couple of years , we have done 3 or 4 Broadway shows a year.

Late night for the kids here.... have one playing the Wii and the other two watching Pirates...

We cannot wait to get a Wii!!!!!!!!!! They were in stock around Oct. but we figured we'd be able to get one closer to Christmas. HA! Fooled us! We don't have any other gaming systems. Just patiently waiting for a Wii.

I missed out getting DD showered and in bed. She fell asleep on her bedroom floor, only 5 minutes after I got her pajamas and bath stuff together while DS was showering. Everyone else is in bed now. I had caffeine at lunch and again at dinner so I'll be up for a while.

Did not get much shopping done tonight....Will have to try better tomorrow....LOL!!!!!!!

DH just informed me he needs to go and pick up one more thing for his new TUX tomorrow so maybe I'll venture out for the ride. He needs his TUX for this week, for work............They are predicting snow here tomorrow night...!!!!!!!!!

DS waited for the Wii's release like we wait for this cruise!! It came out last November and we would have like to have gotten it for him for XMAS, but he "needed" it at release!! Think it's hard to get one now?! Everyday I checked various website. Amazon had posted info that they would have pre-sales at some point. I got to work one day and jumped on Amazon and 'lo and behold it was there for presale. I couldn't believe it. Made the purchase and he ended up receiving it the day after it's official release. He intended to buy it himself and actually gave me the $250 he had been saving for this purchase. I put it into his 529 account.... Well, the presale on Amazon was over in like 3 minutes. They announced they "accidently" turned it on and some folks were able to complete orders like me. They eventually announced there would be no additional presales. I was unbelievably lucky that morning! Amazon pissed a lot of people off!

It's the only system we have now that gets any use (still have the old XBOX). We like it because Nintendo generally has more family-oriented games, etc.

YUCK snow! At first we were predicted to get 6 inches (alot for us) but now nothing, just bitterly cold. If you were feeling OK would you normally accompany DH to black tie events?
