Abby,

I know if it were summer time I would be bummed that I was stuck resting. Actually, it would allow me more time to be sunbathing out by the pool.....

I wish we could get a sitter and then the kids would not have to come with us...LOL!!!!!!!!

I'm actually having shopping withdrawls so I am shopping online tonight. I think I am going to ask Bruce to make some popcorn in the popcorn machine......

Whatcha shopping for? After work I was going to buy some stuff from Victoria's Secret Catalogue's semi-annual sale but of course when I got on to order, the things I wanted were out of stock.

Do you ever get nights out without the kids? We do a few times a year. Not enough! Haven't found any babysitters around here.

DH is reading right now about how the Hannah Montana movie has almost sold out... Glad I got my tickets when I did ..............

I can relate to that. I have two 1/2 brothers that I barely know, and speak to or see maybe once every year or two. It's kind of sad if you think about it because they are practically strangers. But since I was 8 it's always been that way. That's OK, I have a sister and 4 step-brothers and step-sisters! :scared1:

Yea, I'm the youngest, when I was 8 it was like I was an only child as they both were out of the house then.

13 years between me an the oldest, 9 between me and the other Brother.

Abby,

We are not up to much this weekend. Resting and resting some more I am itching to get out a bit so I think if I feel up to it tomorrow night we may try to go out to dinner...........

Please take it easy, don't push your self.

Wow! That's quite a difference. My brothers and sister are all 3 years older than me. (they have different parents than eachother) While my parents were married all 4 of us lived together. But my parents divorced when I was 8, so my brothers went to live with their mom and my sister and I stayed with our mom.

You have a large extended family...Must make shopping at Christmas hard....................

Thanks Nikki! I will look in to that! DH says he wants one too.

I paid $29 for an older refurbished shuffle, it holds about 120 songs. It is about the size of, half of a post-it, and about as thick as a pack of post its. Hey, I'm sitting at my desk, and that's all I had to go with:goodvibes . It has a great sound. They have newer models and ones that hold more songs too. I got a cute case for mine from Ebay. Some days they have them and some they don't. if you don't get the one you want, they might have it the next day. There stuff changes daily.

:rotfl2: Someone recently told me that marriage is just a bunch of pretending anyway, so you seem normal. :thumbsup2

I am a complete MP3 illiterate. So after I buy one, how do I get music on it?! Go to their websites and pay to download, copy my CD's onto it, what? :confused3 Also what kinds of earbuds are best? Bose maybe? (I've heard the earbuds that normally come with them aren't the greatest.) I wanted an MP3 for Christmas but Santa wanted to bring me an el cheapo one that I didn't want, so I told Santa what he could do with his MP3 player. ;) Just kidding!!

There are so many out there, if all you want to do is play/store music, any basic mp3 player will do. If you want to download, music, podcasts, video, then an Ipod would be the way to go.

As for earbuds, I have a pair of Sony's

We lucked out with that, my DM lives next door, and DMIL lives less than 5 minutes. It's nice, they never say no. :goodvibes

We keep it simple. On my dads side we only buy for my dad and step-mom. I don't even see his family (aunts/uncles/cousins), which is quite large. (not as big as Nikki's family but big for us!!) I still have my dad's gifts here. How pathetic is that! I haven't even talked to him since Sept.

Too many choices............. can you actually download tv shows and such to them? (told you I didn't have a clue!)

I'm online trying to find the kids coats for next year. Well Hanna seems to be growing out of her coat already. So Talbots kids has some stuff on sale. I also tried to get some shoes for them from Children's place.com but there site is making me angry very very very slooooow.........
Then I need to look for something for me of course...Ann Taylor is calling my name like it does a lot...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We get out sometimes and it is very rare. We really only have my parents to sit for us since we do not talk to DH mother. Looong story. But she is a weirdo and his father is in Florida. So when we can get our sitter we have her but I really do not like to leave the kids I know we are weird. But we really only trust my parents so no we do not get out as much as I would like too. But that is o.k. My Aunt likes to come and watch them too so that is good......

Oh gosh, that is good to keep it simple...Heck, maybe you can just give it to him next year...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
