Hey, that is now four people we know who have that Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!
What are your plans???!!!!!!!!!!!

Not much, my husbands bday is the 13th, so last weekend we went out to a dinner theatre with some friends for a sort of bday present and the weekend of the 15th the three of us are going to NH for a little getaway. On my bday I am just going to treat myself to some gooey yummy things I don't normally let myself eat! I had lost about 60lbs doing Weight watchers about 1 1/2 years ago and don't want to gain it back, but on special occasions (and cruises) I let myself go.

Well it has been a rough couple days...Came home from work on Thursday and one of our dogs was just laying around (and she is extreemly hiper) we took her to the vet and then we had to take her to an animal emergency hospital for surgery..then the next morning had to pick her and take her back to the vet so the could monitor her and she is back home this morning...doing alot better...after alot of money! But if we didnt do the surgery then she would have died that night...I couldnt let that happen...

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you dog is feeling better now.

Well it has been a rough couple days...Came home from work on Thursday and one of our dogs was just laying around (and she is extreemly hiper) we took her to the vet and then we had to take her to an animal emergency hospital for surgery..then the next morning had to pick her and take her back to the vet so the could monitor her and she is back home this morning...doing alot better...after alot of money! But if we didnt do the surgery then she would have died that night...I couldnt let that happen...

Her uterus had an infection and had ruptured and bacteria was leaking into her stomach...emergency hystrectomy...5 different antibiotics and we are doing alot better..

She is feeling alot better...within a week probably all back to normal...i hope....thanks for asking...

A couple of weeks we have to monitor her and keep her calm...Which the better she gets the harder that will be since she is most hyper dog I have ever seen...

yes...its funny if she doesnt want to play then you know something is wrong...even now she is on pain meds but walking around with a toy in her mouth.

I'm so sorry about your dog. What happened to her? I hope she is OK after this.

It was a day filled with food shopping, dump run and picking up some dog food.

The vet said that it was not uncommon for dogs that have never been spade and never had puppies....I had never heard of it..so after I recover the expense of these visits I am getting my other lab spade...Dont want to go through this again...

So if I remember correctly several of us are headed off to the Hannah Montana concert tomorrow...my neighbor went today and said the kids were up dancing and singing in the isles....

That's probably a good idea. How old are your dogs? My black lab is 14. I always wanted to get one of each color!
