Hi everyone! This morning is horrible here - murky and cold with thick fog. Hope you're all well and anyone who was under the weather is now feeling 100%. Kristin, I wish I had known about your TA - I booked direct with DU and I don't think it's 'quite the thing' to change from one TA to another. I'm waiting for the accountant to come this am to sort out the last tax return for my late dh - I found out that I've got a huge bill for him (that I wasn't expecting) that's due by the end of the month:scared1: I think it's a case of severe belt tightening for a while. Haven't thought about excursions much, except I don't want to stay on St Thomas as have been before, so will probably go to St John or Water Island for a beach day.

This Thursday will be Sophie's 14th bday and we're going to see Cirque du Soleil in London with my db and dsil - she's a Cirque fan, so that will be a big treat for her.

Happy Monday!!!!

Another week, another few thousand posts on our thread!!!! I've got the coffee and I've had my breakfast so here we go... :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hi Joan...

Hi everyone! This morning is horrible here - murky and cold with thick fog....

It's grim, isn't it Joan?!

That's my feeling too - they've handled all our other cruises so... :thumbsup2

Oh, Joan - that's sounds horrid! Fingers crossed the accountant can help you sort it out as painlessly as possible...

Hope Sophie has a wonderful day on Thursday... :)

We will probably do the waverunner tour again at CC.... parasailing seems like it may be an option as well. As for the other ports - haven't a clue yet.

Exactly the same here! This time I want to do something more adventurous. Not sure who in my family I can talk in to any of it though. :)

We've never been to a Cirque production!!! I'm going to have to change that soon... Just spent a half hour on the phone with my Sophie - we had lovely chat... :cloud9:

Tonight on the Dis..... Did Abby resolve her sports bra problems? What's up with ED? What did Kristin's husband say when he returned home from a business trip to find out she's been watching Playboy women jumping on trampolines? Will the Dis censor Harry again? All these questions and more may be answered on the next episode of.......

I can't wait for this installment, Harry... :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

Yup. No horror stories of nekkidness though. No lewd pictures to share. No treadmill hogs today. It was a pretty tame visit today. :rotfl: The pool was packed though! Geesh. This place is always packed on the weekends. Weeknights are a great time to swim because there have been times we've had the pool to ourselves. That suits me just fine because then I can go down the dragon slide and not make a fool of myself in front of strangers!

Now that's a disappointment!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Joan-
That sounds wonderful! I hope she, and you all, have a nice day together. :grouphug:

I did contact her and she responded very quickly unfortunately she said that since I had it with a ta allready that they probably wouldnt let me transfer...I am going to keep her information on hand though...Also I was really interested in the Palo Brunch with the group since it will be me and dd I wasnt going to book anything at Palo...

I am in the same situation that you are in. I also contacted Carol and she is great, but I already have my reservation with another agent and it will be very difficult to switch. My DH and I are still discussing it though.

I'm sorry to hear about the unexpected bill, and having to sort through that kind of stuff. I hope your accountant can help!

Good morning Sharon!

In order to go from one TA to another you do have to cancel your original ressie. It's kind of frowned upon to do that, but it is your perogative as the customer. However, if you rebooked onboard and then transfered your ressie keep it that way, otherwise you will lose your rebooking credit, I believe. Once a reservation is booked with DCL and transferred to a TA, that TA has control over the ressie. There's technically no transferring the ressie back solely to DCL then retransferring to another TA unless the original TA has done a horrible job as your TA. I could be wrong but I think this is what I read. Plerase do still ask because I am usually wrong 99.9% of the time on things!!

You are mostly correct! this is exactly what Carol explained to me. There is one other way though, and that is if your agent is willing to write Disney a letter and transfer it back to Disney without canceling. Some will do this with no problem others won't. So it does get kind of tricky.

I'm more concerned with getting more physically fit than anything. Tomorrow is my company's official start date to the biggest loser contest. I decided not to officially do it after all but I'm going to play along. Our guys were pigging out last week so they could gain some weight to lose even more for the contest. Kind of silly because that's just more weight they have to lose.

Good luck!!! :thumbsup2

Got it. I don't have any issues where I am now - just curious because I saw you guys looking to meet the goal for some group amenities, etc. Wish I had known earlier.

Same here... :goodvibes
