If most everyone is in agreement I will change the DIS Meet to 4:00 on embarkation day. I know we do not have any plans for that afternoon. We are just going to enjoy the ship once we get on.

You can brings snacks on the plane, as long as it is not a liquid or gel-like substance, so no pudding, apple sauce, yogurt, etc. Beef jerky and trail mix would be fine.

Nordkin, Thanks for the tip. That was one of the things that I was starting to worry about. The closer we get the more things cross my mind. I have never traveled overseas so this is all new to me and it has been a couple years since I have flown anyways.

The 4pm time on embarkment day is fine for us as well.

Michelle and I really want to purchase leaning tower of Pisa tickets, so that we can go in the tower, and it has to be 45 days before, would you be interested? Is anyone planning to travel to Pisa by train? Do you know the cost? Is the train close to the port or do we have to take a shuttle or taxi to get there? We would like to get there in the morning. Our group of 4 would like to tag along with other DISers that morning to Pisa. It looks like some of you have already purchased tickets to Pisa. It's probably better to buy tickets in advance.

THANKS, once again ,for doing this ! We seem to have a great group and it will be fun running into each other those 10 days !

Vailcruiser...I'm planning on filling my little cooler with ice with 2-3 bottles of water.I'll bring 2-3 extra bottles and put in the cooler when I take the cold ones out to take along as we tour. Then when we get back to the bus /van and we're hot and thirsty we'll have cold ones waiting !

BTW, got my cool scarves (?) yesterday. And our REI hats are on the way ! GINA

I would like to participate, but to be honest I am clueless to how it works!

If you know of a link on the board for me to follow that would be ok too, and save you time on a subject I am sure you have explained numerous times!

Oh and one more question is the DIS official color "Tinkerbell" green?

something homemade, maybe something from your
hometown, or cruise or Disney related. Then we'll take
them around, or let the kids to this, and leave them on
the fish ,outside the room. Nordkin will let us know which
day to take them, so we won't get everything in one
day. I know there is a post somewhere that might explain
it better.

Is everyone finalizing their shore excursions ? We have made so many changes, it's embarrasing. We have decided to drop our Villefrance tour and go on our own. I might sleep in that day !!! GINA

You can try to get additional Palo reservations once you are on the ship, but getting them depends on availability. We are going to try to get High Tea for the last sea day, but I am not counting on it.

Since we will be arriving in Marseille on Assumption Day....a national holiday, does anyone know if many things will be closed?
