Bummer...I had planned to call about staying there today. I'm going to try for Beach or Yacht Club then. I've always wanted to stay there....and since it is only one night...

YEAH!!! We took your suggestion and we will be staying at the Beach Club on the 23rd. Hope you can join us.

I'm just glad we took care of that issue, and now it is done.

SuJo - I will be at the pool if I arrive on time....I am will be driving in from Houston and hope to arrive in the early afternoon. My DD is very friendly an loves to meet new friends I am sure your DD and mine will have a great time together. As for the email thing...I am still keeping this trip a surprise and hope my kids don't catch on until we show up to the hotel. I have a feeling once we get to the hotel they will figure it all out! I am still trying to figure out how to sneak her princess dress into the luggage....(note to self: make sure it still fits her!) As for my DS5, he gets along with anyone he plays with...there will be no problem finding a playmate there.

Minnie7701 - My DW's family and mine are from Mexico, even though we were both born in Houston we speak spanish very well and hope to use it in Cozumel and Costa Maya and get some good deals...wink wink!!

For those that are staying at the BC that week, we'll be at the BCV from Mon-Sat., so if you are at Stormalong Bay pool in the afternoons, look for the family with three boys and that'll be us! Come and say , okay?

Hey Tinky,
Wow, one vacation right after another, that's what I call enjoying life to it's fullest! Do me a favor while you are in Houston and DO NOT go to Galveston for swimming. You will be very dissapointed in the water coming off a cruise that takes you to beautiful beaches. At the same time there is lots of sightseeing to do there. Moody Gardens is one place you need to put on your agenda as well as all the muesums in Houston.

Hi Cykojoe! Welcome aboard! We are another family that is staying at the Radisson. Our daughters are 9 and 12. We are flying in from Vegas early Friday morning and plan on vegging out at the pool. Looking forward to meeting you and your family. Hope the surprise works out. Very exciting!

Does "buying supplies and throwing it in a pile" count as packing? We have done several DCL cruises, so I have an Excel file with one sheet for each person with everything they need to pack. I just keep adding to the list as I think of things. Then we each take our list the day before and toss it together quickly.

Cykojoe - Great! Do your kids speak spanish. I speak to mine in spanish and they respond in English. It is sooooo hard to get them to speak spanish.

DDD - Doing great or my scale broke! Something is wrong with my scale. The other day I weight my self twice and once I was down a pound then weight again and I was down 2 pounds....What is going on?

We arrive in Orlando at 11:20 am on Saturday. Does anyone know how long it usually takes from the Airport???????????????????????

As for the Radisson meet and greet, I thought the time was around 2ish. Carole88 had sent a message out a while back with that time. The meet time on the boat is 4:30 so you might be confusing that meet with this meet . We will probably be there all afternoon anyway because my DD's love the pool.

Good job on the DDD Minnie! I read somewhere that the port is at least an hour from MCO...so probably 2 hrs realistically?

I am home today...supposed to be working around the house and can't get my mind off VC!

We must all be getting excited for this cruise! I was gone for a couple of days and HOLY COW we've gone up by A LOT of pages!!! We are SO making 100 pages!

I have to take a minute to brag: my DH surprised me with a couple of days in Marco Island! It was wonderful and got me thinking of the wonderful things awaiting us on the cruise!!!!

One HUGE lesson learned: sunscreen!! I used SPF 30 and look like a tiger with all the stripes from missed application spots

Now to see if I really followed this correctly: there is a meeting of the DIS'ers on Friday the 23rd at the Radisson about 2:30pm for those arriving early. (unfortunately we get in LATE on Friday) There is another meeting onboard on Saturday the 24th at 4:30 on the port side. Wearing particularly bright shades of green. Which deck?

Is this correct?

Oh my gosh, you guys, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

Hi Meg!

I think there is also a meet at beaches n cream Fri @ 4:00. Sat @ 4:30 is the sailaway meet...I deck 10 on the port side.

Lori -Thanks I'm glad its out of the way and we have always wanted to try the Beach Club.

Charla- Don't forget to make your resort reservation today! And the meet at Beaches and Cream, I think is at 4:00. Maybe we can get a count going of who will make it at B&C.
