Nick (DD - BF) works for United Space Agency/NASA training astronauts....

They've been a little tied up getting ready for this week's launch....

But, I''m enjoying torturing him.... of course he knows that I need them to help me drink my red wine.....

We are planning on being there by 10:00 a.m. My DH likes to get the most out of the ship and wants to be on board as early as possible. So we plan to leave the Crown Plaza at around 9:45 a.m. I think I read somewhere that you can get there that early. I figure the worst they can do is make us wait in the parking lot. It will be like that old Mervynn's commercial "OPEN, OPEN, OPEN!"

We were planning on leaving Anaheim at 10. Maybe we should leave earlier? What time will they let us on board since we are leaving at 4?

Weekend check-in time. Welcome to you new guys!

Can't believe we leave for DL in 4 days -nope, haven't packed a thing!

We are leaving GF at 10:30 - takes about 45-60min. to port. I hear they start boarding around 12:00. For anyone staying at a DL hotel beforehand - remember you can check in at the hotel - from what my TA says, even if you aren't using Disney transfers.

Wish me luck - on call this weekend and working up until 3 hrs. before our flight leaves Wed. Don't know what I was thinking.

Provencio - saw you were looking for transfers on another thread - we are using pronto - they seemed reasonable and very professional.

We just saw something on CNN about some Buzz Lightyear toys going on the shuttle . . . now DS8 wants to watch the launch.

nope, haven't packed a thing!

Ditto! But I've started to organize stuff. I made a packing list; I went to Home Depot and got some door stops for the connecting doors in our cabins and went to Office Depot and got the little plastic sleeves for our lanyards. I picked up some AA batteries for my camera; and got a 2 GB SD card for $9.99!

DS14 graduates from 8th grade Wed and I may just break down and buy another dress shirt for him, to make sure we have something to bring on the cruise.

Still need 1 FE gift . . . picking that up today!! By this time next week we should be in San Pedro!
