Yes, Star Wars Weekend.
Yesterday was unbearaby hot. We arrived at MGM probably just after 4 p.m., hoping it would not be as bad. It was pretty bad, heat wise.
We are not Star Wars fanatics, and I know next to nothing about SW. But we still have a great time!
We even saw the paarde, which we usually pass on. And we were pleasantly surprised to see the front runners of the MGM parade were Cars characters. (The main chacter and the tow truck.) I think everyone was very happy to see them.
I bought a few SW items: (cough, cough) pins
DH bought Mr Potato Head Spudtrooper. It is great! He comes with the outfit, extra parts and a lazer masher. "Freeze! Or I'll mash you!" ($12)
Usual characters, but all done just as well as one would expect.
ANd we rode ToT and RnRC. Our favorites WDW rides.
