I am sure that the kids will not even notice if an FE gift is not just for them. My kids don't even know what to expect, so they probably wouldn't even notice. Good luck with making your FE gifts. We have started collecting our things to put together our FE. I am getting more and more excited as each day goes by. I just wish the flight prices would go down so we could book the rest of our trip. Everything is depending on our flight.

Yeah - I think the kids will enjoy ANYTHING since we'll be lucky if they even remember the gifts with all the cool stuff they'll be doing on this cruise. Each of us should only feel obligated to do what we can afford to do - remember, it's not the gift, but the thought that counts.

That said, are you guys okay with me just leaving one of the keys to your new Maseratis in the fish extenders? It's already hard enough to get those things through TSA at the airport...
It's not like I can get all four tires in a little ziploc bag or anything!

If you could sub mine for a yellow Lamborghini I would be most greatful!

Possibly you could consider packing scooters in your bags for the trip home... whats a couple of thousand miles pushing with one leg uphill??

What are everyones thoughts on the exchange process... do we want to just leave the delivery of gifts up to everyone on which day they choose to do it? That works fine with me! I know I have read some reports where people assigned a certain day for gifts to be delivered by each room. I think I prefer to leave it flexible and not assign days, but whatever the group chooses works for us!

With so many of us, I'm not sure it really matters. The last two cruises we did we only had 7 cabins participating so we did assigned days by cabin so that gifts were left each day. I'm good with whatever the group wants.

My DW (vtinkerbell) just offered to do up a schedule for the FE. So far we would schedule 4 or 5 cabins for each day, that way they will be evenly spread out.

Just got back from a run to the local Dollar Tree store and picked up two door shoe organizers with a hook at the top to hang in the rooms for various bathroom, etc. items. I also picked up a mesh laundry bag. Of course the quality isnt great on either item but for a buck each they will do just fine

I picked up a clear shoe holder that hangs on the door at ROSS for $4.99. It's great to keep phones, cameras, hair stuff, tickets,.....etc. We took one on our last cruise and it was WONDERFUL to have.

I did an FE exchange on the DVC members cruise last year and we just did it on whatever day we wanted to do it. It just works easier that way because then you don't have to try to work it around a certain day and events. I will do whatever the group decides as a whole, but my vote is to not make the FE to structured.

Sorry I have been missing for a bit, but I was at WDW most of last week at my friends wedding. It was a great time. Now I am in cruise planning mode and I cannot wait.....

OK So here is the final list for the FE Group. If your name is in RED I need you to look at your info and let me know if it is OK. Also anyone that is new to the thread from the last few nights I have added you to the FE list if you requested to be added. Please look at the info that I have fill in, post with any info that is missing and I will update the list. Anyone's name that is in RED please respond to me by the end of this week. If I have not received any info from you by Friday I will take you off of the list with the understanding that you no longer wish to be involved. This was the only way that I could see to make it fair for everyone who wants to get started on their gifts!

From what I can tell most would like to just pick their own day and time to pass out their FE gifts. I am fine with what everyone else wants to do. But IMO I would also like to had out my FE gifts when I have time. Maybe be a few each day or all on one day whatever I have time for. I will post the FE list again tomorrow.

We did the FE once before and it was a lot more convenient for us to do them any time rather than on a schedule. We still got something almost every day since there were so many people participating.

What I did that helped us was I made a map of the ship and marked each FE participant room. It made planning our route around the ship a lot easier and we got around pretty quickly.

I'll be doing this again so if anyone would like a copy, PM me your email address and I'll send it out when it gets closer to the date and all the cabin numbers seem to be finalized.

I am sooo glad that I saw on here about the FL Resident discount being available for our sailing on here. I called DCL the other day and changed our ressie to the FL discount and we are getting back close to 1600 dollars. That was certainly a nice gift back from Disney...

I am so ready to go on this cruise. My Grandmother who is traveling with us is getting so excited that she keeps asking me can we leave tomorrow. I wish... LOL
