I just sent a PM to everyone listed on the first posting on our meet thread to ask if you would like cruise bracelets. I think it will be much easier for me to track the requests that way. I apologize to anyone that I am asking to reply again with their request.

I found this picture of color options on the site we will be ordering from. Please take a gander at the top half of the picture and see what you think. It may be neat to get the glow in the dark one at the top of the pyramid if it does not cost much above the normal price?!? I can just see us all shining in the theater during shows or out on deck 9 after sunset!
If not, then I guess the other green one on the bottom row of the pyramid.

Any thoughts/opinions?

I'll go with anything, but I find glow in the dark annoying...again - I bow to the group mind on this one.
My preferences are ACTUALLY the Orange followed by that green and yellow swirl...THEN the bottom green.
But, hey, you could choose pink and I'd go with it since you're pulling this together, Scott! LOL.

Fully understand the reluctance to glow stuff, and don’t mind leaving it out of the mix if need be, though I am sure the Palo manager would LOVE to see them in his restaurant!
Looking forward to all suggestions so we can come to a consensus

Does anyone know if any large support causes out there use green for their bracelets? I guess we should try to go with a color we wont mistake someone for one of our crazy DIS bunch? I have always read of DISers using green for their stuff onboard, so my guess is green is a safe bet?

I too have read that lime green is the 'official' color of the DIS Boards. SInce both bracelets are green, it doesn't matter to me. The kids would probably enjoy the glow bracelets more. You could do glow for the kids, and just green for the adults? Just a thought.

DH is full of them tonight. His suggestions are "MOM" cruise (Moms on Magic) or the "BOM" cruise (Boat of Moms), or the "Magical BOM" (Magical Boat of Moms). One more how about the MAP cruise (Moms and Pirates Cruise) Like I said he was full of them tonight!

My DW asked me to confirm are all names listed on the FE list participating, or just some of the room party in some cases? She wanted to make sure we were brining an accurate amount of gifts. I guess her thought might have been that a whole family could be listed on the FE List but maybe only part of the family was interested in exchanging?

This is my first post, but please add us to the FE list and for braclets. This will be our first cruise. It will be myself, DD(4, almost 5 at time of cruise) and a good friend. I'm a single mom so I usually rope one of my friends to travel with me. We are all excited about cruising with all of you. I've been reading the boards for awhile (learning lots! - thank you!), and can't wait to meet everyone.

Jennifer (me)
Hannah (DD)
Lynette (DFriend)

And we will be in 2560.

My understanding was that gifts were by stateroom. One gift per stateroom with maybe and extra gift for the kids. Of course if someone were crafty and energetic, they could give each person a gift if they were so inclined.

Welcome Aboard!!!! As you may have noticed, the closer we get to the cruise, the more chatty we have become.

By the way, I have a sister who lives in Abq. It's a small world after all....

In regards to the FE Exchange you can do what you like. Once I have a complete list of all who are involved I will put together a spread sheet of all the name and room #'s along with the ages of the children. From there it will be up to each person to decide if they are going give one gift per room or one gift for the adults and one for each child or one for each per person in the room. I think I will be doing a Main gift for the room and a little something for the kids. I think that I will be making something more personal but you can also buy something. This is something to have fun with. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
