By the way, I was surprised by how many people didn't realize Figment was a Disney character. I know I'm a little off the mark on many occassions, but I didn't think Figment was all that unknown. Besides, I love dragons. They symbolize so much but don't mess with them - Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus. Always words of wisdom for those Harry Potter fans.

I LOVE figment! I was sad when EPCOT got rid of him...I thought it was a great little thing.."figment of your imagination"...

I know what you mean about meltdowns...my DH told me mid-week that this is about the time I usually have one! LOL!! I feel as though I plan, plan, plan...pack for everybody, make all of the travel arrangements, take care of everything to get ready...unpack while we're there, do laundry while we're there, and STILL have to do most parenting things as well. I agree...it's my vacation too! LOL!!

I was in our room also on pirate night with our DS4. He has a sensitivity to loud noises and will have a complete meltdown with things like balloons popping, fireworks, or anything like that. It was niiiiiice to just relax and just spend one on one time with him. We were port side, so we didn't get to see the fireworks off our balcony, but he and I still had fun. I ran up afterward to get some crepes and food though!!

Now the BAR TAB......... Can I say that SBC did not touch that.... Thanks BJ for being my bad influence, I thought it was going to be Michelle. How can I not buy when you are there giving me samples from yours.... Thanks a lot, I will send the Credit Card statement to you at the end of the month.

Tink! What happened? I figured that your shutters bill was going to be doubled b/c with all the extra time on board there would be more time for pics to be taken, and more time to shop for photos.

Good Morning to all our fellow Dis-mates...
Thought I'd check in this morning with a post, since I didn't post yesterday

We have been busy since we got home as I'm sure everyone has been...had parent teacher conferneces this week, confirmation meeting for Emily..school music concert etc....so ready or not- we are back in the swing of things.

Laundry is still a work in process (isn't it always ?? ) but I am in the home strecth..should come out on top today

The weather here has been amazing!!!! Yesterday was near 60, so spring is in the air but know, that we will more than likely get hit one more time with cold and snow....

Tinker.... Thanks for the offer of your Credit Card statement..but I think I did well enough myself lol Yes.. some of those drinks were indeed YUMMY...our new favorite- The Bushwacker.. OMGosh it was really good, Ron and I had our first one in St Thomas up at the Paridise Point...then found out they served them onboard as well so yes our bar tab /smoothie tab was up there as well but, O 'well we were on VACATION
Wish I had one right now!!!!

I NOT even going to post our total bill but, all in all we ended up doing did pretty good, with our OBC and disney rewards, I think we ended up owing between $200-$300...
I have already got started earning rewards for our next trip

We really enjoyed Paridise Point, it was within walking distance of the ship, and the views were amazing!!!! I will post some pictures for all to see.. They also had a sky jump ( I think that is what it is called) that Kaylee loved, she was on it for at least 30 minutes or more...there was only one other little girl up there doing it, so they let them stay on much longer than I would guess they normally do..

Great stories girls!!!!! I guess the closet we came to a magical moment from a CM, was when our server Daniel (who was AWESOME!!!) had key lime pie waiting for us (Micday's and us) one night for dessert...

We did however have another MAGICAL moment not from a CM but from Maddison and James...one night when we (Micday's and us) were playing Bingo in the Promendade Lounge, Kaylee sat her new pink digital camera and autogragh book down on a table, and when she left, she thought Ron or I was getting it..only Ron and didn't know that was what she was thinking lol!!!
anyway when we discovered it was missing we went backto the table,maybe 10 minutes later, ( we never did leave the lounge, just moved to a different table) it was GONE
We went to guest services right away, only to find that, no it hadn't been turned in...Kaylee was SO upset...the characters were the highlight of her trip...she had taken SO many pictures of them all, as well as ALL the many autographs she had gotten from them (autogragphs from this trip, as well as previous trips) were in this book.

Turns out about half an hour (or so) later...Maddison comes running up to Kaylee with both Kaylee's camera and book in her hands..turns out Maddison saw a girl standing in line to go into Parrot Cay, holding both Kaylee's camera and book, the father of the girl asked MAddison if she was Kaylee, and James replied no, but Kaylee was with them, so they gave the camera and book to James...the dad had told James that they reported finding it to guest services..but after we recovered them, I went to guest service to ask if someone reported finding a camera and book..they said no, they also said... if someone had reported it, Guest Services would have keep the items..
so---I don't know Just HAPPY that Maddison saw her holding it...

So that was TRULY A MAGICAL moment for us!!!Thanks MAddison

Speaking of Micday's....Michelle..where are you???? we haven't heard from you in a few days...Hoep James is feeling better, as well as all of those who have been under the weather

Okay...better get started back in on my laundry, hope everyone is having a good day

Again, I want to say..how much fun it was meeting everyone, is really was fun hanging out, and running into so many of you during the week!!!!
We are loving everyone's pictures, I will TRY to get some pictures posted in the next day or so myself...

Yummy it was............. In some chat a few months ago I sort of remember BJ agreeing to pay the bar tabs for all and Mike agreeing to pay my Shutters bill..... Does anyone else remember that???? Wasn't it with the agreement I would let BJ have my Turkey leg....

I just found out, I guess some never heard that we did have a little mishap on the ship. DD had 2 allergic reactions on the ship, one being anaphalatic. We were miss informed about the pizza up on Deck 9 and therefore she decided to STOP breathing in the middle of that beautiful Ocean. But the Magical Tinkerbell Moment made us soon place it in the back of our heads.

I don't know about everyone else...but it seems MUCH longer than a week ago today, that we got off the Magic???? Maybe it was just a l-o-n-g week

After all ,we did have to do EVERYTHING for ourselves..cooking- making beds -dishes-cleaning ... not to metion, that we weren't being chauffeured from island to island, with of course, the DOD in hand ooh that was the life

Okay Tink...first of all, I don't recall being offered YOUR turkey leg, or anyones else's for that matter...and second of all, I WILL pay your bar tab for this past cruise...with the understanding, that you will pick mine up for the next trip lol bottoms up!!!

Lucky for you Tinker on the school calender for next year....Our school board is still in the process of making ours up...have my fingers crossed, but think it is going to take ALOT more than and the cruising God's to help with our Spring Break...this year (2008) on our school calender for MArch we have...

Winter Break March 7th
Teachers Comp day (no school) March 14th
Spring break March 21st and 24th

I as well as many others say... just clumb the days all together for crying out loud... and give us a full week off!!!!! They do this EVERY year, I am hoping that MAYBE this year will be different!!! One of my friends is on the planning committee, and is trying to get it changed, will just have to wait and see ....

Our thread has been pretty quite the last couple of days..hope all is well with everyone...I'm alittle worried about a few of you...Micday in particular, haven't heard from you in a while

That is too funny! Josh (norm and Kim's DS) commented on my lucky lime green mickey head pin all week. I had seen a cast member in Treasure Ketch wearing one early in the week, so on Friday I went to trade for it so that I could give it to Josh. Alas it was gone!!! She looked everywhere for another one. Now I know that your little beauty is the one who probably ended up with it. I gave Josh my pin anyway. Later that night when I was back at Treasure Ketch Mary-Jo came over to me and said - "I wasn't able to find you a Green Mickey Head, but I did find this Pineapple Yellow one." I was quite impressed with her for remembering me, and I now am the proud owner of a yellow Mickey Head pin, but I will remain on the lookout for another Alien Green pin!

Ohhhhhh Jen, that was so sweet of you. Yellow is a nice color. Just do not tell any other DISers; they may think you are going "Spongebob", since you did that Nick place..... Sorry about that again. I feel really bad. I really do know how to keep secrets.

Hey Rani- I am on DCL's e-mail release for dates. The day the dates are released, I get an e-mail, unless the e-mail request has to be up-dated. I will call you if I hear anything on this end. I have not even been to the site for some time. I did call DCL today, just to ask a question about something and guess what, a rep answered whom I did not even know.

Some type of way, when we were planning everyone's duties, I was suppose to be arranging drinks by the pool. Hey did the kids miss that over night PJ party in the BJ room? Norm, someway you missed your assigned task too, didn't you. That's it, I guess we just now need to pack the kids up and send them ALL to you for a week. At least I did get my part of drinking by the pool....

As long as everyone wore the underwear I assigned on each day, I guess I was somewhat listened to. Right Mike?
