Do you know how much it would cost to ADD a vow renewal onto a cruise that's already been purchased? Just looking into it....

$1800..... Two late now for you guys though. Two months notices needed. Running back out to the place of the bambinos...... Will talk to you soon. It was only $1000, a year ago and the price went up. Does not include pictures.... They only do 4ceremonies max the entire cruise...

You know -- that is a huge amount! And the truth is -- either way, we'll still be married when we get off the ship.....we are definately geezers in marriage! I'm glad you told me....because if it were something like $500, then I would have felt bad. But at that amount, I won't feel so bad just buying a picture and some touristy souvenirs!

Rani I'm with you that's a huge increase !!

I always told DH that we'd renew ours at WDW. We got married right before they started the Disney world weddings, I was so sad.

Hope everyone had a great day ! Two weeks starting tomorrow we'll be at Disney. Tomorrow's when I plan to start packing, I'm so lazy.

My boss wants me to do some extra work next week and asked if that's when I'm on vacation, boy he really gets my blood pressure up !

Michelle, your boss sounds like mine. Today he asked me if anyone else was planning on taking a vacation while we were so busy...I know his little hints He just makes me more excited about getting away from reality for 7 days

The vow renewal price is crazy! I've thought about doing something like that on our next cruise, but I guess not. I'm already talking about my next cruise...I need help!

I changed my side 'thingy' because tink told me that Ursela was retired to her and my kids' favorite icon for me -- Pharoh -- just isn't offered! I thought The Prince of Egypt was a Disney film -- wasn't it? Where's the Pharoh avatar --- the kids think I'm a slave driver!

Besides, I'm getting highlights tomorrow (some people tan, I get highlights instead....) and it will look so much brighter!!!

You can get a side thingy by going to "User CP" on the top left side of your page on the red stripe. Then it will say to pick an "avatar" and you can put a dot in the circle next to the pic you like and voila -- you have a side thingy.....

btw, did anyone notice how annoying this is? She's smiling as she does the laundry? Give me a break! -

Speaking of laundry and yes, she does seem to be smiling for some absurd reason. Does anyone else plan on doing laundry on the trip? I was trying to pack less & thought maybe I would do laundry 1 day. Right now it doesn't seem like too bad of an idea, but I'm sure I will change my mind when it comes time to do it.

Does anyone know anything about the Tortola Dolphin Encounter? It looks like it's new to DCL. Ryan really wants to pet a dolphin and this is the only excursion that has it, but it's an all-day thing and is pretty expensive. The total time with the dolphins is only 30 minutes.

I am absolutely, under no circumstances doing one second of laundry for nine spectacular days! If needed, I may handwash pair of socks or so -- but that's the end of the spectrum --- this is MY vacation, too!

My little side thing as they are now being called, is a picture of the BIG Screen by the Goofy Pool. For all you newbies, they play movies there, as well as post live the show as the characters are doing it during the parties. The heart flag is a special patriotic celebration they did on the 4th of July. Since I am such a patriotic honored lady, I took pictures of everything they posted that day as they played, "I'm Proud to be an American". I just like to raise my DD knowing just by being a female born in America, she is one of the Luckiest Females Born...... So, just explaining my "Side Thingy" as you guys call it.....

Hey Rani, you did not have to change your Ursela due to me, it was a name Mike gave me..... Some of my other family here gave me Stinky Tinky, I wonder who thought of that one???? I rather be "bashful". (NOT)!!!!

Okay, I came back to my office to chart and here it is I had to check on you DISers. I am going run out now.... Catch you later...

Believe it or not, even with our 3 outfits a day, 8 pc. of luggage, I still do laundry on the ship. I just hate taking dirty clothes home..... When clothes are dirty, they seem to take up more room too. Even though I do not enjoy it and I talk naughty the entire time and NEVER let DH forget I did it..... I still do it. How about this for smilies

i did not change ursela for you --- although out of respect, you can have her. My DD is very displeased with Ursela because she is not nice to Ariel and apparently DD IS Ariel so this is a very big deal. I know she's Ariel because not only does she tell me -- but she has this shell with Ariel's voice in it that she wears 24/7. This is her second shell because Ursela 'really' has the first one.

Now, seriously, after the first one was 'misplaced' (with the costume, socks, keys, coupons and other unmentionables), DD would SING the 'ahah ahhhhhhh, ahah ahhhhhhh,' all day. So my boys, about to stuff their own ears with silly putty, found a shell from the Ocean that LOOKED like that shell and would 'capture' her singing in it! OF course, she didn't think twice about this accuracy because she is a believer....very cute!

this is not good, folks. there is a major ice warning in the state (yet for two hours I've been watching the rain just drip down the road) and schools are delayed two hours which means I won't be able to take my hour-trip for highlights because I've got to stay home to get the kids to school and deal with preschool and it's totally hard to set up these days for childcare when you have a long appt far away like this one and now i have roots two inches long and you'll all see that i look like my mop is just a hairpeice and on top of all that i seem to have forgotten how to use punctuation and if you like that style of challenging reading you should read blindness as its just amazing and has absolutely nothing to do with the cruise i'm just type-babbling because i'm frustrated about the weather inturrupting my plans

Oh Rani: Sorry to hear of your predicament. Is there any way you can reschedule?...you must really love your hairdresser to travel 2 hours to get there. Try to have a better day. Just think in 17 days you'll be sipping tropical drinks poolside.
