Welcome to the next chapter of "AS THE WARDROBE CRUMBLES."

As we enter the scene, Rani is starting to pack for DS weekend vaca and gets to the sock drawer in search of two - just two pair of socks. As she searches and searches, she starts to move faster in frustration and mumble to herself, "I just bought him socks. He had seven million socks before that he didn't like, so I just bought him new socks....but even if they aren't here, the other seven million should be here." Yet, not a one can be found."

We will continue this episode after the next break (down.)

Apparently, DS (this kid is amazing, smart and extremely creative -- especiallyl with clothing geography) sent out all his un-favorite socks to find the pirate costume......we'll either see what they turn out or find out what clothes will be sent to find the socks....

Can you see a theme? I mean, there were so many socks and NOT A ONE REMAINS!

Totally unrelated to the cruise - just had to share.

I want to stay up and chat with you guys but I'm fading, work today so I've been up since 3:30am.

As you can tell from the above post I'm getting sleepy and so the brain is shutting down.

Oh, it reminds me of this shirt I almost bought. It said:

I am having a sock problem too. Open up DD's drawer today and not a single pair. Went to the laundry room and not a single pair. Went to the dirty clothes and found four pair. Where are they all? Maybe our kids have been talking.........

Insomnia here -- roll call.

I had a revalation yesterday....I have nothing else to buy for the trip....save some pantene and milk of magnesia when i get to Florida.

I have all the clothes, meds, forms, and misc ready. I need to pick which cooler and beach bags I'm bringing and maybe - strong maybe - get another sunscreen...... DH got me the Crocs I wanted for Valentine's Day -- ok, I told him I wanted them, ordered them and wrote myself a cute little Valentine's gift message -- but in all these years of marriage -- I've found that it usually works best that way --- - anyway -- nothing else to order.

I've got all my forms in a folder and ready to go....I've emailed the school to alert them and get homework ahead of time....I've taken time off at work.....

I know you're all thinking that I still have to buy socks for DS -- but hey, it's Florida on a cruise in the Bahamas and he's got Crocs....and I'm sure I'll find two pair socks for the plane rides.

So now the waiting starts.....

Your not done ! You now have to fly to NC and get me all orgainized like you've done for yourself ! Wow ! Hubby has been trying to get me to orgainize for over twelve years ( mike do you men never give up ).

Now if this was a straight WDW trip I could have us planned out to when we pee but DC, newbie !

I was up ALL night thinking about your SOCKS . I am sorry to inform you, but you need two more pairs of socks. You need them for formal night and semi formal night. Maybe we need to road trip to Mikes to pick up the extra pairs. Sounds as if he has them all........

Brenda & All-
You should have waited to see "The Game Plan" on the ship. DH is always telling me we can not see any movies........... We "HAVE TO" see them on the ship. You know he feels we have to get our $$ worth. Remember he keeps telling me to work to bring home dead guys on green paper. Last night when I got home he asked if it was a Benjamin or Grant day and I disappointed him by saying, it was only an Andrew Jackson afternoon. So I guess I better be cranking in the movies while on the ship.

Rani- Tell DH most Disney Fans are OCD. The reason we all click. :thumbsup Tell him they have a support group on board, so we are all taken care of..... Tell him we will all go to the therapy session on the ship and "get our moneys worth".


All-
How many of you are planning to rebook on the ship? I would not be surprised if Johnna injects here and gives us the date. I have one lerking in my head thanks to her hidden messages....

Okay, I guess I better get off the threads to finish Mike's email. I have to tell everyone what color underwear we are wearing on Monday and Tuesday...... I now have to plan how and when Rani needs to wash socks on the ship, now thanks to Mic, I have to make a pee schedule........

OH - my DH is an expert at getting his money's worth! Dress socks are taken care of - as are boys ties -- they'll switch off so I only have to take two. do we know what movies are being shown onboard yet?

I was off writing your e-mail and missed you Good idea to have the boys just switch ties.... You are the perfect packer, no sleeves, two less tie, any more hints???

Now about movies. I always call three weeks prior and they will tell me. I will post it here when I find out. Now they usually have the last four movie productions of theirs plus the last four video releases running often. So I am taking for granted, Enchanment, That new one that is out now, National Treasure and the Game Plan for sure will be there. If there is a new one anyone knows of coming out, we get a chance to be a premier audience if it is withing 1 week of release date. We were the very first audience to see Pirates before it was released in the theatre last cruise.......

I will let you guys know.

I am going to address the linking question here, since now two of you have asked. If you have the same dinner time as another group of passengers and decide you want to eat together, then you can call DCL and link your reservations. When you do this, you are all scheduled to eat in the same restaurant at the same times for dinner. They try to put you at a big table together or at two near by tables. It saves you from eating with strangers. If there are 4 in your party or more, you actaully have a good chance of eating at a table alone. If there are less than 4, good chance you will be paired with others you do not know. They sometimes do place a family of three with a family of 4 though. When people link with us all we ask is that they go along with MY REQUEST. Not that I am a control freak (DH would disagree), but we have allergy issues and I like to select our dinner time and therefore select our restaurant. So we have always known our rotation before others, but I will be honest, if they do change our order of restaurants this time, no big deal to me..... I just usually like to know ahead of time. Does this make sense or am I babling?

Try it again Mike. It will come up as flash chat. It will ask you for a screen name, use your DIS name, but hit under guest not password and log on. It should work, I just tried it again. Now, this appears to be an international board with other languages, but we should be able to find an empty room. I am idling in the game room holding our space.
