Awesome answers - lots of help. You and I have the same dinner, right? Does that mean we'll have the same CB? I talked to TA and we're 'supposed' to be scheduled for the rotation that puts us at PC on Pirate Night and Lumieres on Formal Night....we'll see if that comes through....

Glad to hear the railings are so high - very glad.

I always get scared about luggage getting lost and not having MY clothes...everyone else is easy to buy for, but I take more specific finds.... so therefore, I am assembling everyone's clothes first in piles and then splitting them up into all the different cases in case one gets lost -- then when I take them out in the room, it's all going to be fine.

We are spending the first two nights in Orlando - going to DW on the 29th - so I'll just pack one bag with all our stuff for DW and the next day so we only have to open one. So funny -- I pack every single thing for everyone - so no one knows what they'll have until I open the suitcases.

Are there enough drawers to take stuff out and not use the suitcases during the cruise?

They have what is called a steamer trunk in your room. It looks like a huge foot trunk, you know the kind you get in college? The difference is they stand about 4 1/2 feet highand looks like the standard trunk on it's side. In your category you get a double wide one, a ton of room in there. It has I think four or five shelves. I was actually able to unload ALL of our clothes on those shelves for the entire week. The ones in the cat. 6 are half that size and I think I can get clothes for all of us for 4 days in those. There is a few small drawers in the room and a slender on by the vanity. The closests are actually good for hanging clothes too. There is some storage under the night stands too. Even though I "over-pack", I have never felt not to have a place for everything. The biggest issue has always just been the luggage.

We have the same dinner seating, but not necessary the same dinner rotation. The times for second seating are 8PM, 8:15 and 8:30. I'll address this in my e-mail.

Rani,
When I read your posting about having found a new pirate costume for DS, I intended to say that he would probably intentionally lose that one too, but you beat me to the punch! Also, regarding bad dreams about the cruise; sometimes I have this nightmare that it's only a little over a month before the cruise, and we still don't know our flight plans or stateroom assignment! Oh, wait, that's for real, I keep forgetting that.

I never thought about this before, but is the Character Breakfast during a day at sea? I would hate to think we would have to miss the Character Breakfast because we are doing a shore excursion! I understand that you can't expect to do everything, but missing that one would be a real bummer.

That is soooo funny Mike , you would have drove me threw the roof. I think I would have freaked out.... Every since I put the magic light back on, I am sitting on 114 PMs in my in box. There is a smiling face that is a devil on the chat boards. That darn server problem....

I will address the other question in my next post, hold on, shuffling the kids to bed.......

Everyday I keep thinking I need to start getting things in order and then everynight I think I'll do it tomorrow!!! LOL

Besides, I can't start thinking about my clothes, cause I'm still trying to lose my pre cruise pounds ...like that is going to ever happen!!!!

I am getting so excited, I seriously can hardly wait!!! I have been checking out all the dinner menus, and that is getting me all revved up!!!! OOO I LOVE to eat

I have not started anything yet either. I keep doing the I'll do it tomorrow thing too. Then I come to the thread and Rani freaks me out . I start to wonder if I am runiing behind . I then think should I be doing something???? Then the dreams do really start.... So know you are in good company not having start getting it together yet.

Oh I got it, "How can I start planning for the trip and packing when you guys keep me on the all the time?" Did I ever mention our family is always a little late? Yeah, that's it.

Honestly, with the packing, this is why I can do it a crazy early time ahead:

It's winter now and I'm packing for a caribbean cruise - they're just not wearing the stuff. Yes, it shows up in the wash, but that's because it falls off the hanger or out of the drawer and instead of put it back, it's easier to put in the wash. I've tried to explain how this doesn't help either of us in the long run - but old habits....

And....i get my kids a bunch of clothes off season when the prices are great so they have a lot...then i don't get upset when they get ripped or spilled on or such - (hidden/lost is another story.)

So I can take a bunch and they won't miss it. Shorts, swim suits, short sleeved shirts -- not such a big deal. Toiletry stuff is almost done...formal stuff is almost done except for DH as he has to go to testify in court twice in Feb....

I am just giving you a little of a hard time, I wish I was that organized. I have a big confessions to make...... I have been shopping for a little over a year........ I now have to go pull out all of the secret bags and go through them without DH seeing it all. I also have to pull out the luggage and find where I stuck the pirate gear for the kids. Oh, I forgot Mike- The kids and our adult ones too......

I forgot to mention earlier, those dollars that you mentioned earlier that you are trying to get, those are Disney characters as well. Mr. Grant can be found in the Hall of Presidents at the Magic Kingdom, and Mr. Franklin has a leading role at the American Adventure at EPCOT. I hope that helps your motivation.

Rani- This is a picture of our room last cruise. We were in your cat. so if you want to get an idea of the size of the room, it is an idea from the picture. The only difference is we had connect rooms. So, the white door you see were to a room next door exactly the same as our cat. 4. Yours will just be a wall.

Okay guys.....I did it, I finally printed off all my car/motel/flight information, and I just finished the online check-in, as well as checking Kaylee into the clubs!!!! So, I have now officially started getting ready for our trip

The plate was actually done at Palo's. It is just syrup they use to decorate plates and the desserts in the restaruants. It was given to us during brunch on our anniversary . I know one night my DS ordered nothing for dessert at dinner and they did him one with the word nothing written on it, so that they could bring him out a dessert plate when the rest of us got something. . So since it is really food, all you can do is take a picture of it and leave it there. It is so cute though. It is totally me too, so I just had to take a picture. The towel animals the Stateroom host makes them every night for you during turn-down service of your bed. They turn down your sheets while you are eating dinner, place these little towel animals on the bed with little gold choc. The stuffed Mickey and monkey are ones DK brought with them. The red bag full of stuff was a gift for our vow renewal. It had robes in it. I LOVED the bag and still use it. OK DD is here and wants me to post this picture of the laundry, so out of content; sorry.

I am now on the Rani train. I pulled out all of the clothes I have been buying all year and have discovered the kids are set. We will buy new underwear and socks, but I think we are good. I need to grab one comfortable basic pair of pants for each to travel home in. I have to find the swimsuites I purchased at the end of the season and find the pirate costumes for them. I sure hope DS did not get any ideas from his cruise buddy and hide the outfit. If so Rani, you may need to be picking up two extras. .

I did fill out my on-line forms and print everything out back in December, so maybe I am a little bit ahead of the game. Now, I just have to make sure no one has a growth spurt in the next month and 1/2. . I also have to go find where I put the sandles. Yes I LOVE shoes........

Thank you for telling me about the pictures of those guys at Epcot and MK. Maybe I then shoud be trying to collect them. I told DH what you said and he and told me to tell you he likes the one at Epcot. Something about the $100 being better than the $50. I told him not to worry about money, "We do not need money, we have our KTWC". Wouldn't it be nice if we did not have to pay that bill at the end of the cruise..? That is DS's thoughts. "Mom we do not have to spend money on the cruise; we just need our Key To The World Cards." Think that line will work for Disney?????

Everyone-
As I was going through DS and DD's closet, I found too small suites and too small beautiful dresses. I told DH, I guess I should get busy on e-bay to sell these items that are really new and maybe I can earn a couple of "Grants" and will not have to work myself crazy at the hospital. I am actually on call 2 night and have not had my pager go off once. Maybe I should check the batteries.

Packing ?? I thought everyone waited to the last second ! I'm going to try REAL hard not to do that. I should start now. Madison has been wearing her cruise clothes ( warm in house so it's ok to wear the sundress even if it's 20 outside ).

Everyone,

I started to do our door magnets and Madison has taken over. Madison's favorite thing is ART, give the child some art thing and you won't hear from her again until it's done. So I'm being the very nice mom and letting her do them, I'm sooo sweet.

James has just gotten word that a new job was created at the VA hospital ( James is a Marine veteran ) so now he's got a great chance at that. Fingers crossed.
