Thanks! We are excited! Haven't told the kids yet because it's still a but in the future. We already have a Disney Halloween trip planned and this cruise wasn't even on the horizon but more of a "the price is right and the timing is even better, let's go" kind of trip. Looking forward to a fun weekend.
Have you done a 3-night cruise before? Do you feel it's enough time?

That's great! When are you going in October? We will be there a month from today - so excited! The kids don't know about the WDW trip but we told them about the cruise. We're planning to tell them about WDW when we pick them up at school the day we leave.
They are excited about the cruise - it has been a good diversion so they think we're saving up our money and vacation time for that. Little do they know what plans we have in store!!!

My DD will be 9 1/2 when we cruise in February. We are going to WDW before and after the cruise. It will be a fun time!

We are also excited as we will be at WDW in less than a month for my daughter's 9th birthday! We are going down from Oct 4 - 14. The first part of our stay will be at Saratoga Springs and the rest will be at Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani.

I will join the facebook when I get home! My work blocks facebook (but not disboards thank goodness!). My DD and I are going Oct 11-15 staying at BWV, she knows about Disneyworld, plan to surprise her with the cruise. I am thinking I may add some disney days before and after the cruise as well.

If you are amenable to the idea (and if you have told her about the cruise by then), maybe the girls could meet in October? That way, they will both know someone else on the cruise for February.

I don't plan to tell her about the cruise until we leave, but I think we could still have the girls meet in October, then it will be such a surprise for my DD on the cruise as she will know someone!

How old is your daughter? Maybe we could all meet up if the girls can keep the cruise a secret, that would be cool!

My daughter is 11. The cruise is her 12th birthday trip. We will also have her BFF with us on the cruise (her birthday is 2weeks after my daughter so they always celebrate together) but BFF will not be with us in WDW.

I just found this board. I'll be on this cruise with DH, DS (11) and DD (9). This is our first cruise ever and we're looking forward to it. Any advice from experienced cruisers is appreciated

My friend Kathy are I are taking this cruise - I have cruised Disney before (5X) but she has never cruised and I thought a 3 day Disney cruise would be a good first time cruise for her. She has allergies to gluten, soy, dairy and I know that Disney is expert at handling people with food allergies. We are both retired Florida residents and DVC members. We do the parks/resorts all the time but wanted to take this cruise to break up the winter months. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Marie
