Yeah and welcome! my last thread wasn't very active I didn't get to meet anyone as on our get together day there was another big event planned by the cruise. I believe there is a fb group as well, I'm not sure how active it is though, I still need to join over there I hope to get to know everyone better here as well before our sail date!

The FB thread is pretty active already. My last cruise group was extremely active on FB... much more so than here. You should definitely join us over there!

We are SUPER excited for Feb 1 sailing on the Fantasy. We were waiting for the 2014 itineraries to open up and booked this right away.

We are a family in Minnesota. Me (36), DH (36), DD (will be 8 at time of sailing), and DS (will be 5 at time of sailing). We took DD on the Magic in 2007 when she was almost 2 years old. This will be DS's first cruise.

I have already requested to join the FB group. I can't wait to get to know everyone!

I was reading my FE info and realized I didn't give my DS's name, please add Derek as my DS!

I am currently working on FE gifts for my April 2013 Magic cruise! I am so excited and if they go over well I may do them for this cruise as well.......I hope I can keep quiet! I would also like to keep the number of cabins per FE group to about 20. This seems manageable! Maybe if some would like more cabins they can sign-up to be in multiple groups? Just an unsolicited suggestion

I agree with you on the number of cabins. Make it fun but not a job and cost a lot.

Greetings from your other Facebook group (Fantasy Feb 2, 2013 sailing ). I booked a B2B while on board and might be able to actually sail a B2B !!!
We are going on Jan 25/14 (with Barb Gibbs) and hopefully this one too for a "Girl's Trip"!!

Will let you you know how plans go closer to the end of October 2014!

Count us in, my partner and I! We booked this one while on the 2/9 sailing of the Fantasy. This was our first time on the Fantasy, man is she spectacular! Can't wait to spend more time on board! We're booked in an 8A, really looking forward to that space!!!

It will be our 5th DLC cruise, third one for DD but very first time on the Fantasy
Cruisinmom? Are you sure you are in room #5020 because that is my stateroom and although im sure it could be fun it might be a bit tight

Awe how awesome! I'll be sailing just after my birthday this time around. This year I celebrated in DW! Next one is a milestone, not sure how I feel about that one yet lol.

I'd like to keep it small as well, I have some ideas but I need to know in advance how many to make, being so close to Christmas it will be cutting it really close, I just don't want to stress myself out. I wonder if we could have an "early bird" FE that is smaller and established sooner. Just a thought....

I will revise the FE list post for those that already asked.

How early is 'early' to those that are wanting to plan ahead?? And how about cutting it off at, say, 10 cabins?

That would be awesome! thank you so much! I'm not sure how early lol I'd say now, but I know that's not realistic I tried finding the rules for the FE can you show them to me please. IE: is it per room or for each person in each room. Many thanks. And thank you for being so flexible, its greatly appreciated!

There are no 'rules' You can give a gift to each person or the cabin as a group, whatever you want to do. You don't have to deliver on a certain day...whenever you feel like it. I've heard that some groups dictate all these details but that takes away all the fun! Be creative and go with the flow is how I think it should be done

Wow you wanna hear something strange? My wife and I just got off the Fantasy yesterday (Feb.23rd Eastern Carribean). We rebooked on board to get the discount and onboard credit and we booked for Feb.1st, 2014 and the room that we got was 5024. We are neighbors. That is totally weird.

Hi!! A fellow Canadian here too!! This is our second DCL cruise. The first on the Fantasy tho!! We can't wait. It's me (38. DH (42) DS (12) DD (9, almost 10) and DS (8 and we're traveling with friends. We've talked up DCL so much they can't wait to try cruising with DCL as well!!
