3rd try to get this to post...

Starting to get upset, but I'll wait until I call tomorrow.

I was reading through the terms and conditions of my new Disney Visa (actually it was an existing account that I just switched over), and here's what it says regarding the 0% for 6 months on Disney vacations:

WDW packages are defined as packages that include a minimum 3-night accommodation at a WDW Resort Hotel and an Ultimate Park Hopper ticket which provides admission to all WDW THeme Parks, Water Parks and more throughout your package stay.

So, at first glance it would seem that a Magic Your Way base ticket doesn't count toward their definition of a package, and wouldn't get the 0% promo.

When I go to the chase website for their Disney Visa card (the bank that issued mine), it does say the Magic Your Way base ticket. So I'm really just hoping that these T&C are outdated. You can't even buy an Ultimate Park Hopper anymore, can you?

This from the same bank that sent me a plain old looking card instead of one with any kind of Dinsey logo. I'll ask again - will I be able to do the meet and greet with free 5x7 in Epcot if my Disney Visa doens't *look* like a Disney Visa?

So maybe I panicked a bit early - there is a brochure included with my stuff that says it only has to be 1 night and a Magic Your Way base ticket. Hopefully that's the right one. I guess I'll see when my bill comes! :)

I just received my cards and it says you can use your card for any upcoming trip and receive 0% for 6 months on any WDW vacation if you use your card. It sounded like you can use the VISA card for any upcoming trip in the future, their is no limited time.

I wanted to transfer 2 credit cards since it was also giving me 15 months of 0% financing.

I just got a rejection notice on the 2 transfer's, they were both Chase cards and they won't transfer balances from Chase accounts since Disney is Chase. Grrrr.

I am trying to pay off my credit card debit before Jan. 1, when payments on credit cards double. This would have helped pay off 2 cards. I have 2 other one's that need paying off. When I got my cards, it said to call for transfer checks. They sent me 2 cards, and some checks to use for purchasing. I ripped the checks up and still have not verified my cards.

I am so scared about our debt-it is a long story, husband was laid off for over 10 months and we are still struggling to get a head from his unemployment.

Sorry, didn't mean to hi-jack your thread.

I know it can be scary - my dh was laid off a couple years ago. We were lucky that we didn't have to tap into savings or go into debt (great severance pkg), but that uncertainty is a killer. Lots of people here have been talking up Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover, seems to help you get a good plan to get out of debt. I plan to get it to help with the bit of debt we do have, and to budget better to make dh's salary go farther while I'm home with the kids.
