0-entry pool @ BLT?

DH and I are very excited about staying at BLT in late August. We normally stay at the Poly. In the past, we've considered using the water wheelchair and 0-entry pool to give DH the opportunity to swim, but we jsut haven't done it. Since my parents are traveling with us, DH mentioned giving this a shot. Can someone tell me whether or not the pool at BLT has a 0-entry area and water wheelchair? Thanks in advance!!

Yes it is zero entry, but not sure about the water wheelchair. It is wide enough but I don't know what make a something water wheelchair access. I hope it works out.

The pool does have a zero entry area.

I'm not sure about the water wheelchair.

This picture shows the zero entry (it’s a little hard to see what is going on, but there are some people sitting in the water on the left side of the picture).

I thought I had some pictures of the water wheelchairs, but can’t find them. They are very similar to a regular wheelchair, but are made of material that will not rust or be damaged by exposure to water and sun.

I had asked about them at several resorts with zero entry pools and was told the water wheelchairs are not left out because they don’t want people who don’t need them playing around with them. Ask and they will get it out for you.

Yes you can get the water wheelchair at BLT.

The smaller slide is also set up with a handicapped lift. I couldn't figure out how it works but it labeled that way.
