Hi! I'm happy to join this thread. DH, DS and I will for sure be there October 2016 and grandparents may decide to join us. We're planning 10/23-10/30 at WL right now. Also planning a day on the dark side and (prior to reading comments above) was planning to stay in a US area hotel for a night on 10/22. Now, I'm re-thinking that plan.

ETA: gradparents are a go and DH isn't too keen on a split stay. SOOOO. Looks like we'll just go and visit Harry instead

DH and I did a day at Universal when we went on our honeymoon - we drive down so it wasn't a big deal to drive from our Disney resort (CBR) to Universal for a day.

This thread is for anyone who will be traveling in October 2016. It may be a BIT early, but Disney has trained us well. (What do you mean, you don't know where/what you want to eat six months beforehand?!)

RO reservations can be booked 499 days out, but rates will change when the 2016 rates are released. RO & package rates are expected to be released this summer (most likely in July).

Edit: @patches07 reports that rates will be released on 6/22!

Since it is so early, I will try to boost the thread up occasionally so that new planners can find it more easily.
