For the first time in a few weeks I worked at Epcot tonight and I told them "RELEASE THOSE DATES............NOW", and they did. Ya, right, I should have so much clout. Anyway the long ordeal is over, book away, tomorrow maybe.

So can we end the rumor about the party ending because Illuminations is ending and that the party is ending because it's not popular?

I’m thrilled. That’s exactly how we wanted to end our trip and, yep, it’s on the schedule perfectly for us. Now to get the reservation made.

What do you consider the best seat? All seats have a good view of the show.

Anyone have any idea of how quick these might sell out?

There's no way to know, but it's a small party, so I wouldn't wait.

So the dates are available and after an hour of refresh on 2 different dates I started checking every one to see they are all sold out .... I was thinking there is no way! So I checked here and see that it's just the first phase. I guess I'll be up for awhile lol

I can't remember which event it was - maybe EMM or the MK dessert parties - but recently we went through the whole "blue date" thing after a long awaited watch party, but the blue date phase went on for several days. Past situations I've followed have mostly been a day or two but this one went on for awhile.

Hopefully this one is quicker and people can start booking shortly.

I would probably get some rest as it will probably be in the morning at the earliest. Disney loves that 7 AM release time

Well .............. After talking to the girls and wife we have decided that we will not change our plans around to go to the FEA Dessert party. All the stalking on the forum for nothing lol. Our 4 year old really really wants to eat at Coral Reef and our ADR is to close to the party and modifying is not an option due to FP+ plans so everyone have fun! But at least we will be seated in the CL prefered viewing area for Illuminations

Attended on Monday 8/6. We had a great time. Table was along the fence; perfect view. My kids ate the pita and bread with cheese fondue. I had lots of fruit and the broccoli with the fondue. Kids also loved the frozen popcorn. The mixed drinks are way too sweet for my taste, so I had wine. No photopass at the event.

It seems like some dates are ready to book, but most aren't. I just checked for our entire holiday, all 21 days (sept 5th - 26th) and I got two dates that showed availability, the 10th and 19th.

Ugh sorry!! Ours was for Nov 29th. I hope yours opens soon!

For the ones that do show, clicking on the time available button wouldn't work. I had to right click the time button and open in a new/tab or window to get it to load.

Never mind my last post, the dates must have literally gone live as I was checking. I've booked mine as well now on Sept 7th, which fit perfectly as it's our first Epcot day.

I just booked mine. This is not a drill! The website is being a little glitchy. If you don't get what you want right away, keep trying. I refreshed a couple of times during the process. I even got the message that said no availability and kept trying and eventually got what I wanted. Good luck out there!
