I would love for a student to write a 670 word essay about the brainrot trends going on when the teacher was a teenager.

.....I looked it up, saw that it was meaningless so I didn't care if she said it or not. Now that I've had my birthday, I don't hear it anymore.

....I know a good ear, nose, and throat specialist I could recommend.....

Ohhh I like that idea.

Remember how the phone was supposed to make us all illiterate according to our parents and teachers who most be in their 80's now, annnnnnd yet here the world is texting and writing endlessly... not exactly clairvoyant

I saw a video yesterday from IASW and yep - some of the dolls are doing the hands. I think the quip on there was something like "Maybe now kids will think It's A Small World is cool".

I love Principal Lamb…lots of wisdom there.

During recess yesterday, a couple of my kindergarten students ran up to me and blurted out, “6-7!!!!” I just laughed and replied, “8-9!!!” They laughed and ran away. They had no idea what they were saying. They just wanted acknowledgment of their silliness, so I gave it right back. Done.

Never heard of it before reading this thread a few days ago. Then I went home and my 6 year old, 1st grader said it to me while I was dishing up dinner. Yesterday his entire scout troop was saying it. I just roll my eyes and move on.
