~ºoº November 27, 2010- Western Magic! ºoº~

Rum runners are basically plastic liners that hold any non-carbonated beverage. I love Patron and don't want to have to pay a kings ransom on the ship to have a shot when I want it. They have all different sizes of bags depending upon your need.

I'm at home on a Friday night working on paperwork to make my day go faster tomorrow. Its the last day of soccer and there will be a HUGE snoopy dance when the day is done and I turn in my last payroll for the season and year. Yippee.

I will check in later. Have a great evening.

:banana::banana:

Yummy, I love Patron!!! And tequila tasting on board, actually we like all the different tastings--organised drinking, lol.
I always take some of my insulated water bottles to put liquor in to take to the pool--it stays nice and chilly and is handy when I send Matt to get pink lemonade for mixer. The trick is to remember to wash them out well when we get back home, so I don't end up on a bike ride with liquor flavored water:scared:
Speaking of organised drinking, last cruise we met up a few nights by adult pool to have a few drinks and laughs and smokey treats. Much prefer being out there to the bar, because can see the ocean and drinks are a lot cheaper. So that's our plan if anyone wants to join.
List for this week, start FE gifts and a few less fun things. Found the actual FE this week when was looking for something else. Good thing too, forgot all about it. Also found magnets from last cruise in it, which added another thing to the do to list.
I can't wait...counting down the days!

Laura - you will get it figured out - just throw some clothes in the suitcase - stash some cash and you'll be good :thumbsup2

Rachel - We are doing the 3 reef snorkel with Capt. Marvins in Grand Cayman. I haven't done it before, but it comes recommended from several different sources. They do a full day that has an added on afternoon tour of the island that I think someone else has signed up for.

We've got a PARRRRTAYYY going here! :dance3: It's going to be fun![/QUOTE

Little more blonde than usual these days, so my question of the day. I should be booking the half day or full day excursion and then can add on going to hell (couldn't resist) and seeing turtles once we are there? I have been known to do a mad dash down the docks to get back to the pretty boat before but only for a really good reason (free tequila shots at Senor Frogs if I recall correctly), so just checking.

It's Friday, everyone! Sounds like everyone has had a pretty rough week this week! It's gonna get better in oh.... 4 WEEKS :cool1:

So, now that Gailyn's TA is sending her docs, am I the only one left documentless? :sad1:

Nope, I don't have mine either, nor a room assignment, although I believe my room can change right up to the day we sail.

Busy as heck this past week and a bad couple of days with a death in the family. My niece was expecting twins and was due at the end of November, they had already planned a c-section for her the middle of November. Well, they ended up taking her in and doing an emergency c-section, the little boy passed away and the little girl was in intensive care on a respirator. Thank goodness the little girl (Clara Grace) is doing much better and is cute as a button. So, a bittersweet outcome. Sure makes you think about how precious life is.

On a happy note, I started my FE gifts today.

I have never heard of these either, am going to google it. I love PATRON too!!! Have you gone to the Tequila bar in Epcot???

Laura- I'm so sorry, my thoughts and prayers go out to your niece and her family :flower3:.

Gailyn

Laura - my condolences to your niece and everyone in your family! Just read your post to my DH, and he said "that just breaks my heart." :sad1:

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween. My DS was a great little pirate. He skipped to and sang at every door.

A little funny to start off the week ... This morning as I was wrestling with DS on the couch, I asked "Where did you get those big feet?" Without skipping a beat, he said "Constantinople and Timbuktu" (compliments of Dr. Seuss). :lmao:

Have a great week everyone!

Laura - I am so sorry to hear about your neice. I hope that Clara Grace continues to do well, she will bring joy to your family even though your hearts are breaking for her brother. :grouphug:

Steph - I am SO up for a cruise THIS MONTH! LESS than 4 weeks away!!!

And, looking at the work list of projects and now our House Party....I will not have a moment's rest before we sail.

Sigh....dreaming of a nice cocktail on the deck while the kids hang in the pool....

Off to work. Happy Monday everyone...and as Steph would say, only 3 more Mondays to go. :cool1:

Laura....so sorry to hear about your neice's babies, but happy to hear her little girl is pulling through!

Ok...now on to my panic....OMG...less than 3 weeks before we leave and still sooooooo much to do. We must finish the majority of packing within the next week or so & must send out our "send ahead" box this week. Finished all my FE Gifts and really happy with them!

Already scheduled hair my hair appt for next Sunday. Plus, nail appt for me and hair appts for the rest of the fam for the following weekend.
Gosh...just have so much to do in the next couple of weeks and so little time to do it! All I keep thinking is that I will be relaxing at the Beach Club pool in 3 wks and shortly after will be cruising with all of you fine folks!

:goodvibes Rachael

Hey guys, anybody up for a cruise.....
THIS MONTH?
:cool1::dancer:party::rockband::dance3:

WOO HOO!! I came here just to celebrate! (my other friends are getting sick of me) :lmao:

I even stayed up til midnight last night just so I could flip the calendar and tell myself: "WE SET SAIL THIS MONTH!!!!!"

Pathetic, I know. Helps that I'm a night owl anyway ....

Hi everyone. Thanks for the positive thoughts, prayers, and pm's. My Dad is in his final days. I am praying for a pain free and peaceful death for him. We were hoping to be on this cruise with all of you, but it doesn't look like the cast rate is going to open up again, and we missed the opportunity. So, we booked on the 4 day leaving the day after you. Have a wonderful cruise! Thanks again! :-)

Good Morning All:

Its great to hear that I will have some people to drink tequila with. I will have to admit I'm a light weight and now that I haven't had a drink since the diet started I might be unconscious on the deck after one shot. Just don't write things on my face, pretty please.

All is well here, soccer ended on Saturday. DS came home from dads with the stomach flu, so we are on the defense around here. No one wants it. He's home sick from school. The kids actually wanted to go today, but mean ole' mommy said NO!!

Laura, I will keep your family in my thoughts.

Well 17 more work days for me. I said this to my boss this morning and got the bird in return. I think he's jealous. :rotfl2:

I really don't want to work today but fear that if I don't they will follow up with the threat of duck taping me to my chair.

Have a great day, I will be lurking.

ttyl. :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Wooohooo!!! We are sailing this MONTH!!

I too had a mild panic attack this morning :lmao: Once I get this weekend's trip out of the way I'll be full-on into WDW/Cruise mode. :thumbsup2

Laura - what a sad story about your niece. Prayers for all of your family.

BealsRwe - I'm sorry, I'm forgetting your name, but so sorry to hear that you have switched and that your Dad is deteriorating. Prayers for peace for him and all of you.

:grouphug: Our thoughts and best wishes are with you and your family. I know what you are going through, it's just been two years since I lost my father.

Ditto everything Rachel said.

{{{{{BealsRwe}}}}} (that's hugs, in cyber talk) Sorry you won't be joining us. :(

Tonya - you won't be boozin' it up alone. Promise. I'm a light-weight too, but just got a little more tolerance on Sat. night. :)

Question for DCL Vets - Which toiletry items come with your room? Shampoo, conditioner, lotion?? Anything else? Thanks!

I'm totally starting to stress out. I have nothing packed. The suit I ordered for DS doesn't fit and needs to be exchanged. All the dresses in the stores for DD (because of height) make her look like a hoochie mama and are totally inappropriate!

EEEEKS!

Gailyn

I guess I should clarify - DD is too tall for girls size 16 but the juniors dresses are very revealing so they make her (and me) uncomfortable.

BTW - anyone know a good place to buy sea bands?

Good night all - got to get up to exercise in the morning!

Have you tried Target for the dresses? They're usually cute and inexpensive.

You can get sea bands @ Walgreens or CVS.

Night!
