Cindy - I'm right with you. I totally feel like the running around crazy guy!!! THe countdowns are giving me a panic attack!

Trying to decide if 6 people and all our luggage can fit in a limo or if we should opt for a van!

How much luggage do you have? Call the limo company and ask them if they feel you will fit comfortably.

Ok, finally tried on my dresses and yeah, they essentially fit. Will need the spandex underneath, but still, this is good. I did take DD nearly 8 out to but a dress for formal night, and she tried on 6 of them. Chose well too. But, we also did hair cuts today, and I had hers cut too short, just above her shoulders, and she is devastated as she said her ponytail does not look good now. Her birthday is on Wednesday and she said her only wish is for her hair back. I told her that it grows, but she is still very upset. Oops.

DH and I just came home from our date night. 2 glasses of pinot and lots of shouldn't-eat-before-cruise food later and I'm happy as a clam.

Hats off to those of you ambitious enough to get your Xmas dec up. Our tradition is decorating day after Turkey Day, so that's the plan and we're sticking to it!

Packing? What's that? As much of a planner as I am, I'm a HUGE procrastinator when it comes to execution, so I'm walking on the wild side and packing the day before Thanksgiving. Yes, the Eyricks definitely dance to the beat of our own drum.

BTW - I got my answer re: the 5k ... asked DH if he's interested, his quick reply "not no but hell no." So there it is. Looks like we, too, will be racing towards a loungers.

Any chance you are willing to make extra of these santa Ears? I am willing to pay you for them. My kids would LOVE this on our door.... I got my fish extender completed... This would be a great final touch for the room.


I am so stressed I cant think right now. We leave thursday bright and early and will be gone for 17 days... I haven't begun to pack let alone think about what to bring... Thank goodness there are stores as I am confident I will forget something.

Someone send me some pixie dust, I can use all the magic I can find right now...


I haven't planned any excursions and i am hoping for any suggestions. We definitely want to try snorkeling as DS(9) and DD(6) have never tried it....

A warning...we had to resize them regardless of what the page says...don't know if this is because we have a Mac or what but they were HUGE! so do the paper ones and try them before printing your final ones. Sulley doesn't remember what he ended up sizing them down to.

Any chance you are willing to make extra of these santa Ears? I am willing to pay you for them. My kids would LOVE this on our door....

If I get a chance to go by Office Depot and get some more magnet paper I will ask Sulley print out another pair...

I FINISHED MY FE'S LIST NIGHT!!!

It feels SOOO good to get those off my list! I had printed out my labels for them when our friends came over for some take out and a game of cards. While the guys were chatting, my friend helped me finish the gifts and put them all in a bag, so they are REALLY ready to go!

It was kind of bittersweet though...we went to WDW and on the 3 night cruise with this family last year (their DD and my DD are BFFs). And they are leaving on Saturday mornign to MOVE to Tennessee.

We are hoping to plan another cruise together, perhaps in 2012. We shall see.

Today's plan is to finish cleaning the downstairs family room (for the Wii Just Dance Party next Saturday) and finalize all the stuff for packing.

I had meant to update my packing list after we got back last year as I either wanted to add some items or remove some, but of course, I never did that. Hoping I don't forget anything, or if I do, I figure it out before we get to Key West so I can find whatever I need there.

Did I tell you guys that I ordered a gift basket from The Perfect Gift? Very excited to see that in the room, especially since I didn't tell DH about it, so he will be surprised as well.

I know this week will be AWFUL at work, so trying to think only good Disney thoughts to get myself through it.

Off to hang with the kids for a bit more before I start doing something constructive, like

That's great, Darcy!!! It feels so good to be done, doesn't it?

I too have a horrible workweek ahead...I will be the only one in the office on Monday and Tuesday as my partner is out, and I also have a briefing to give on Thursday, all during a time I am trying to get everything ready for my partner to take over for the two weeks...but I think the REAL challenge will be that last week...especially that half day on FRIDAY!!! UGH! I'm gonna be pretty useless that day, I'm sure!

Next Saturday is booked as we will be attending a very important function that afternoon....our DGD's 4th birthday party! I can't believe our little angel is goig to be 4.

I'm off to get busy with things around here, roust Sulley from his chair to start bringing up my Christmas boxes...that were SUPPOSED to be brought up yesterday

Good Morning All:

Well the cold weather has set in for our neck of the woods. I think its in the 20s right now. BRRRRR. I was able to sit in the press box yesterday at soccer. While it isn't heated it did get me out of the wind. We drove to Joe's Crab Shack last night (its an hour away) and feasted. We deserved it after all the activities yesterday. Now back to real life.

I keep thinking of things I need to do, but the execution of things to be done is alluding me. I have the day to myself today so I think I will get a few things done. My kitchen table looks like a bomb went off.

I need to go get something for my DS 14th birthday. His birthday is the on Thanksgiving this year. We do our best to have a separate family party so that doesn't get lost with all the regular Thanksgiving festivities.

My DH has relented and is jogging with me both on the Turkey Trot our city is hosting on Thanksgiving, but also on the Castaway 5k.

I hope everyone has a great day. I best get up off my lazy you know what and get to work. I will call on of my BFFs and gab at her while I work.

morning everyone. I am still feeling so unprepared! We are moving down closer to my parents and while our house is being built living with my parents and all my stuff is still at my house (for the cruise) 2.5 hours away so we have to go up there this weekend and pack everything. If we forget anything it's too bad b/c its too far away to go back again!

Its gloomy here today and the Saints have a bye week so I am going through withdrawls!!!

For any of you coming to WDW the week before the cruise, I will be working at Expedition Everest on Mon, Thurs, Fri that week. Yep, DH and I work while others play, but we love it! So excited I am off early in the day Fri so we can pack the car and head over to CI & S for the night. We have still managed to keep this cruise a secret from DD.

I have been picking up some little goodies to put in our FE for our DD. She still hasn't seen them, and has no idea what DH and I are up to.

We have set my dad's memorial service for Wed Dec 8th. I wish it were before the cruise to give us some closure, but he and Mom are together again, and this way more family can make it down. While his passing h=is extremely bittersweet and I miss him every day, my brother and I decided not to rush things. We did it this way for Mom's memorial this summer, and it was truly wonderful having the time to prepare, and to be able to allow traveling family to get here without huge last minute airfare.

2 weeks from today we will be in Key West One of my happy places.
