I'm so excited! Every day I just visualize walking down Main St USA and seeing the castle for the first time in the trip... Sigh. 90 days cannot get here quick enough.

I know, I can't wait step on the bus and hear "Welcome aboard the Walt Disney World transportation system". Sounds strange but that's one of the things that really make me feel like I'm finally there!

I am so excited, we have been planning our next trip to Disney for a few months, now. We have been going for our sons birthday for 4 years now. The year before our first trip we had a huge party, and a family member flipped the four wheeler, broke her back, and was almost paralyzed, so the next year we wanted a more positive experience for him, now it has just become a tradition. This year is going to be extra special, as we are surprising my fiances father and his step mother, and paying for them to come. For this reason though, we are now staying off property because we need space. This will also be his step mothers first Disney Trip.
We are also hoping that our best friend and his niece (my sons best friend) will be joining us again.
I think this is set to be our best trip yet, even with having to stay off property.

That'll be a magical trip! I added you the log on the first page, But under planning. I never caught where you were staying.

We will be there May 17th and 18th, Pop Century. Yay!!!

Man, I just found out that is a Star Wars Weekend so will likely be pretty crowded. We are not interested in that stuff and will avoid HS. Does anyone know how the other parks usually are during this time? We are splitting the trip WDW and Universal, for my daughters HS graduation present. I can't really change the dates, so we'll have to make the best of it. Oh well, we'll be at Disney so I'm sure it will be magical regardless!

I'm curious about this myself. I already have it planned to not be at DHS during the weekends. I too am wondering how the rest of the "World" is going to be during SWW.

Our past two trips were intentionally during opening weekend of Star Wars Weekends. Honestly I don't think it made a big difference in the other parks. On our last trip, the only rides we had more than a 15 min wait for were TSM (without a FP) and Mickeys Philharmagic (during a quick rain storm). DHS was pretty crazy on Opening Day but was manageable. I did a lot of reading in preparation for Star Wars Weekends and it seems a lot of the serious crowds come in just for the weekends and are there for autographs and collectables. I'm sure there is a little effect on the crowd levels in the other parks but we didn't notice it

I'm so excited!! We are heading to Disney May 4-11 and I was stressing on what to do on our leave day. Its Mothers Day, and our flight doesn't leave till 930p! So I was looking around on the ADR site and saw an 11:20a Chef Mickey ressie. When I grabbed it, it said "Chef Mickey Brunch".. So I called Dining to verify what it was, and sure enough there is a Mothers Day Brunch at Chef Mickey's!! I had no idea they did that! It works out perfect since we can't airline check out bags till 930a anyway.. so, we'll head over to Chef, then spend the rest of our time at Magic Kingdom Perfect last day!! Sooo excited!!!

I was so excited to read that the new parade at MK will be starting in March. So we can see it during our May trips. Now if we could only get news on the new coaster.
