30 Days out! Time to get out the suitcases and start writing my packing and shopping lists. Packing for myself and my partner. Ours is kinda easy though, all of our Disney shirts are in one drawer in each of our dressers, so I just grab the stack of shirts and a stack of shorts or capris and stuff them into the suitcase.

I also have to get the shopping list going so I don't forget anything. Can't imagine getting to Disney without my coffee or my "can't live without" French Vanilla Creamer!

I love that you have a Disney shirt drawer! That is great!

We'll be packing our Tim Hortons coffee. No morning is complete without it . Its the only thing I really miss when we're "down south". That, and the cat .

Total poor/miscommunication all around - for MB testers and non-testers alike. How can he insult the dis boards? I think we have a better handle on how the new mm+ will work than "Leopoldo" and many of his colleagues! Am I the only one that is baffled that in this day and age of social media, instant feedback and constant communication- this MAJOR COMPANY can't get a straight game plan and have all the players (guests, cro, it, corporate, etc) on the same page with that?

I totally agree. I did say some of those similar things to him. I said it was frustrating that there's so much speculation and misinformation because DISNEY isn't putting out anything official. He gave me a speech about how they're not releasing official information on the test because it's a test and the terms can and are being changed/adjusted throughout the run up to the start date and that the whole test could even be canceled up to and including check-in date of any included tester. I also literally said "I told you so" when he came back on the line and said the testers are getting KTTW cards. His complaint about the disboards is that they're not officially Disney which is when I launched into how I'd much rather get my info from the source but the source is silent...

I am trying to go with the "it is what it is" philosophy. Can't change the test and can't change my dates either. Won't give up CSR for POP. Can't afford CR. So I will make the best of it. Disney is my happy place right now and I won't let the FP+ test change that.
Hope you can get to a better place about it.

Yes!! Me too. I am not at all worried that I am not part of the test, etc. I am excited for those of you who are, and I want to hear about your experience. But I am going to go down and enjoy myself no matter what, and not let FPs or no fridge ruin that!

I have a special Disney shirt drawer too! LOL I have a *slight* obsession with Disney tees. I will also probably overpack ALL of them. And buy 5 more on vacation.

Down to three weeks!!!! YAY!!!! Teaching summer school and tutoring next week, then the first week in August is my boys' drama camp's performance of "Shrek, the Musical." (My middle son is Peter Pan!) Then a week devoted to packing, BEACH, and Vacation Bible School...then we will be there!! At least we are keeping busy until then. I hate to wish summer away but I want to be in WDW.

I sat down to re-organize my Disney catch-all bag tonight because it was overflowing! Just for fun, I took a pic of everything I've got so far. I have not bought ponchos yet. I might wait until we get to Disney.

I think we are pretty much ready to go. I've already started separating all the clothes in our closets that we are going to be taking to one side of my closet so when its time to start packing, I can just grab in and put it in.

I'm still dreading the week before. I'm hoping I have enough time to pack, clean, and do last minute laundry. It doesn't help that I have the Backstreet Boys concert the night before we leave lol. Our flight leaves out of JFK the next morning at 7:30 (we live about an hour away) so we'll have to leave our house no later than 4:45. Something tells me I'll be leaving the concert early lol.

We always try to pack so we don't need to check a bag, so I have no idea what the rules are anymore!

It is not quite so bad for us, but we leave for our beach vacation on the 10th and return on the 17th. I unpack, do laundry, re-pack, and drive to Disney on the 20th.

We are at 10 days single digits starting tomorrow

You can bring food on the plane as long as it is unopened. Liquids, of course, have to be checked, or you must buy them after you pass through security.

We usually have a morning flight when we go to disney and I never had a problem getting a donut or muffin thru airport security. They are in a simple paper bag that you get from the bakery section.

I'm having a hard time focusing on our trip though as I've been given a great opportunity to change employers recently and going for a big interview in about an hour! I'm so nervous I could throw up, I haven't interviewed for a position in 6 years! Never mind I've put on the pants I want to wear and they're too big (yeah??lol) so stressed lol!

After hubby's company picnic tomorrow and mondays cake decorating final it'll be smooth sailing til our departure date

ONE WEEK from tomorrow we will be on the road and ONE WEEK from Sunday we will be checked in and spending our first day in WDW!! I cannot wait. Today is booked but starting tomorrow I'm going to work on personalized packing lists for each person. They're started but not completely finished or personalized. I need to renew the books I'm bringing to read in the car. Start thinking about what bags we're going to pack into. We're driving so I'd prefer to use soft sided bags rather than rigid suitcases. I haven't started getting overwhelmed yet but it's probably coming.

Next week we have the groomer for the little dog and preop doctor's visit for dd. Other than that we're open so I should have plenty of time.
