Well, my predictions appear to be on track for the FP+/MagicBand rollout. Widespread testing in August and a full rollout in the fall. Those staying at the testing resorts in August are getting the full experience and those with reservations in the fall are being told they can pick FP and MagicBands for their later reservations.

Wonder if pigletto is seeing that for their December trip?

So far this is not giving the feeling of having a relaxing vacation like Disney says I will help do. I am conserned if I gave my self to much time or to little time to do things I want. That is why I said I am really going to take advantage of the kiosks and my phone to move things around with hopes some good attractions and times are available when I want to do the change. I am way to use to going to an attraction around the time I want to riddance grabbing that Fastpass for an hour later to ride. I typically go down when it is not crowed so never had FP really run out or be to far out in time.

I get to try the magic band!!!!

Just looked online and got to pick my color (lime green for the DIS) and got to have my name added to it.

Checking about FP+ later after DS gets on the bus for summer school.

How'd you find out???

Heading home from my summer class midterm now (got a 93% too - anyone care to celebrate with me?) and hoping to be able to get MagicBands. Anyone know if BWI is included in the test?

On the website it only shows tickets for me and my husband. Not my son. Problem?

Mine too! But everywhere else it lists him, so I don't think it will be an issue.

At first it wasn't a pop up. I clicked on bands and cards under MDE on the website. Then I clicked done and a pop up came up about customizing bands and our whole trip- confused.

I just read on another thread that the next test is for guest with stays anytime between 8/2-8/25. They also said the included resorts are POP, CR, AKL, and YC.

I don't know how reliable the source is but it seems to be correlating with the people reporting being able to access it.

I sure wish some of the moderates were included. Oh well. Congrats to those who get to try it out. I look forward to hearing how it goes and hoping the bugs are worked out before my 2014 trip.

Darn! I kinda would've liked to try it since we won't be back for quite a while according to DH...

I wonder for this trip since my ticket is not a package but a AAA ticket if I will still be able to get classic FP with my plastic ticket too along with my FP+ or if they will require me to add my ticket to my magic band so i can use my FP +. Also I they give me the option should I put it on the band or keep the ticket. Oh the questions. LOL

How do you all think it will work?

I am thinking:
Use plastic ticket to get in park and be able to get classic FP, Magic band for room key, and FP+

I didn't ask about which resorts they were testing at -- BUT -- I know it's not POR. I originally asked why it wouldn't let me customize bands for the first 6 days of they trip, and the IT person said I wasn't in the testing group. Then I mentioned the CR rez, and she said "oh yes, that's why it's giving you the option to customize, they are testing at CR." Kind of relieved its not for the whole trip, because what if it totally sucks? Also I made an FP+ rez for Wishes on our very last night, so kinda psyched for that one.

What do you get when you do FastPass for Wishes or one of the parades? Is there a specific viewing area?

Doesn't look like I'm part of the test I can click on "Make Fastpass+ Selections" but then it comes up with an error message saying "The selected date must be within at least one party member's FastPass+ selection window."

I'm pretty disappointed. I was really hoping to try them out, and I have no idea if/when I'll ever be back at WDW again

What do you get when you do FastPass for Wishes or one of the parades? Is there a specific viewing area?

I did not get a choice for picking parades or fireworks at any of the parks.

I think everyone get's Micky Mail...don't they?

I may be wrong, but from what I have read, you would get Mickey Mail if you booked a MYW package. I booked through a TA and got a "package" but it was a RO + convention tickets, so I don't think I will get Mickey Mail and I haven't gotten anything. Not even the DME tags yet. I emailed my TA yesterday and she said that usually Disney will send the DME tags to the TA and they will forward them on, but due to the large amount of packages they sold, Disney is sending them directly to the person. She said if I haven't received anything by 3 weeks before trip (2 more weeks to go) that I should call her. I hope I get it sooner than that though.

Woah major update- just called Disney (when asked by automated responder the nature of my call I said fast pass plus and it directed me straight to tech support) about not being to add my kids. My access is apparently an error. PEOPLE WHO ARE REAL TESTERS HAVE RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH A SPECIAL CODE. Even though the website let me customize bands and make some fp reservations times- CM says we will not be part of the test group. Booooo

Friends- don't waste your time planning like I just did unless you received an email. So bummed.
