You shouldn't have a problem with anyone using your phone to take a photo, but I have heard rumors that they'll intentionally take bad photos to get you to purchase the PP photos... I'm just taking my iphone 5s this year but we also purchased memory maker. I'm not a pro so I don't feel the need to photograph everything. My phone takes well enough photos that we should be satisfied! If you're staying on property, log into MDE and go to " my reservations and tickets" you should see it linked. If it's not it should be fairly easy to do. When it's linked you can have your band scanned by the photographer and viola!

Does anyone know how the fantasmic dinner package work as far as payment... We have the dining plan, is it covered under that??? And what time do we need to show up to the show? Our dinner res is at 5:40 for Hollywood and vine

How did you manage a 5:40 package ressie? I thought they didn't do Fantastic Dinner Packages past 5.

But to your question, the package counts as 1 TS credit, and from what I have read, 30 min before show time seems to be the consensus on when to show up.

Well, from everything I've read recently, there's no need to go have your band scanned anymore. The rides with photos now are equipped with wide-ranged RFID chip readers at the spot where camera is, and automatically captures the MagicBand information for everybody in the ride car. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong?

Does that go for the video or for ride photos in general? We haven't purchased ride photos in years!

Both. All the ride photos will magically appear in your account online

thanks! this was a last minute ADR that i just happened to luck up on...this is our first time doing the package and I was thinking about possibly dropping it and seeing the frozen fireworks instead. maybe see the 10:30 show later...i don't think we could see fantasmic and then make it to the frozen fireworks in time to get a good seat

MagicBands are out for delivery!

I needed to hear great news. Spent part of yesterday and early this morning cleaning for a house showing (selling the house) and the people ended up being a no show. At least my house is sparkling from top to bottom. Seeing the status "out for delivery" definitely lifted my spirits. Only 26 more days until our Sept trip!
