We are 14 days away and only 7 work days!!! dde0ddde1cdde1cdde00dde00. I have a question so I'm thinking of leaving my dslr at home. I mean I'm no pro and use auto a lot anyway. Anyone ever just use their phone camera? Will the character attendants still take a pic for us using a phone?

For the last 2 trips we have only used our phones, I have an iPhone & my DH has a samsung and the pictures have turned out better then expected. We also had no problems with photographers taking pics with our phone as well.

I've been thinking hardcore about buying the MM before we leave... I like knowing we can have ALL of our ride pictures, any PP pictures, etc. Plus, I think my kids will like all of the magic shots.

I didn't want to spend any more money on the trip before we got there, but I think I might cave as well.

Opinions anyone?

According to the USPS website and my tracking number, my MagicBand box is hanging out at my local post office this morning!!! It says they expect it to be delivered TODAY! Any sign of yours yet?

I broke down and bought Memory Maker about a month ago. As I'm traveling solo, I figured this would be a nice alternative to a vacation album full of selfies!

I say get it! I've never been, but it's on ours. I have heard nothing but good things about it, my friend just got back from 5 days at the park with more than 250 mm pics. I think you'll end up regretting it if you don't or pay the extra $50 to get when you arrive.

I'm 31 days out. Our day to customize MB ended yesterday. When do they ship out?!?! I've been obsessively checking my email this morning waiting on the shipping confirmation.

This was me too! I had everything paid for, didn't want to pay $150 but like a pp said you'll end up paying $50 more at the park if you change your mind. There are so many PP spots and they usually take a few photos at each spot. I think they're something like $15.00 minimum so the price adds up quickly! I say go for it!

We bought MM this weekend. We decided to take the plunge, and now with the new ride videos coming in, hopefully we'll get ToT and a few others by the time we go! We were initially worried as it's a little pricey and I noticed in Disneyland Paris there were hardly any Photopass photographers, but all the anecdotal evidence I found suggests this isn't the case in Florida! It'll be nice to know we can get photos every chance we get, without having to worry about any costs whilst we're there!

We got ours at 25 days out-the e-mail saying they were shipped came at 29 days. You'll get them soon!!!

There's a map somewhere of all the Magic Shots, wish I knew where to find it!

Ride videos? I haven't heard of that! You'll find people who will say they didn't see any photographers out but that's just not true. Worst case scenario you'll only get shots with each park icon which is where you can for sure find photographers! Plus if you have children you get character photos too!

Well, from everything I've read recently, there's no need to go have your band scanned anymore. The rides with photos now are equipped with wide-ranged RFID chip readers at the spot where camera is, and automatically captures the MagicBand information for everybody in the ride car. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong?
