Even though I'm staying in a Disney Resort, I purchased my tickets seperately from my package, so I can't do my FP+ until 30 days out. So in my own nervous curiosity about what to expect at the 30 day mark when I go to book my FP+ times, every now and then I will check for FP+ for 30 days from TODAY, just to see what's hypothetically still available within that kind of window.Midnight tonight is my 60-day mark! If I don't want A&E but do want 7DMT (on our first day of the trip) do I really need to be up by 12midnight? Anybody have any experience with NOT getting 7DMT if they wait until morning?
TIA!

Everytime I've done this, I've been able to get decent times for 7DMT. Don't stress. Of course I could be wrong, but at 60 days out, I can't imagine that a difference of a few hours will make-or-break a good 7DMT FP+ for you.Hope this helps some!

You can make FP+ ressies at 60 days out even though you bought your tickets separately from your room. As long as you have a stay booked at a Disney hotel, and your hotel and tickets are both linked to the same MDE account, you can make your FP+ ressies at 60 days out from the first day of your hotel stay, and make them for the full # of days your tickets are good for.Even though I'm staying in a Disney Resort, I purchased my tickets seperately from my package, so I can't do my FP+ until 30 days out. I am so excited. We thought we were going to have to postpone just our trip to September 2015, but with a little work and creative budgeting I booked us for Sept. 7 - Sept. 12 at Coronado Springs. We will have 4 full days at the parks and two half days. I was even able to make all our FP+ reservations and really we were able to get everything we wanted. Now all I have left to do is make some ADR's and we are good to go.
We decided to skip universal this year and cut out a few days, but all in all I was able to bring this trip in for around the same budget as a beach vacation. So glad we get to do Disney instead!!
I thought I'd update from my previous post. I did sleep through the night on my 60-day mark (no midnight alarm!). I was not going after A&E so I thought I would be good. I made FP selections around 9am. I got everything I wanted, BUT the times for 7DMT were limited. Only available on both of my MK days for 3pm or later. Not a great time for me, but I am glad I got 7DMT at all I guess.
Can you edit/revise your FP+ to a time that works better for you? I just made my FP+ ressies a few days ago and I took the best combination that I was offered and then edited my ressies to be earlier in the morning (hoping for extra FP+ later in the day). I'm on the West Coast so I only had to stay awake until 9 p.m. (although it took me about 45 minutes to set everything up when all was said and done) so maybe I had more choices on editing my times.
We have less then 10 days before I can do ate fp+ selections. Only thing I need to get is the 7dmr everything else well be a bouns.
This is when being on the west coast pays off!...rather than ADR scheduling!
I don't like the way the selections work. They give you like 4 options of random crappy times. I always go back in and have to hand select times and move things around. This time though the earliest 7dmt was 3pm! I have gone in to double check a few times, but nothing ever earlier! I may check 30 days out as I have a hunch Disney releases them in stages.
Thanks! We will both be heading there soon!

Do you have earlier fastpass times scheduled for other attractions that day? If so, move them to later times and more 7DMT times may show up. Then you can go back and reselect times for the other 2 fastpasses.
I have no breakfast ADR, no morning FP, nothing! At this point it is now after 4pm and later available, so I guess I am glad I got 3pm at least! I will be really curious if they open more up at the 30-day mark. I can't imagine they just release every FP spot 60-days out. Though it does seem that way for A&E. 29 days from now I will report back!![]()
