Question for those of you who have already been booking for BoG dinner ADRS in September: My ADR date is approaching in a few days, on Wednesday (3/26). I fully intend to be online at 5:55am, ready to grab whatever BoG I can for 9/23. That's the ONLY day in our schedule that will work. But out of curiosity, I've been looking for the furthest date out I can currently check (presently Sept. 19), and there's NOTHING available! :confused3 Needless to say, it's scaring me. For those of you who have been booking your ADRs in the last week or two... How much luck are you having with nabbing a BoG ressie?? :worried:

I have an ADR for 4:10pm on 9/23 for 4 people that I'm going to drop (was able to get a better time later in the week). If this is your party size, PM me and we can coordinate you getting my slot (I've seen other posts on this topic).

We're headed down there Sept 9th-15th! Staying at Pop to save a few dollars!

Why can't it be time yet?!?! 170 days is a long time away!!

Sorry for such a late reply. Been pretty sick in this house the last week! We will probably just grab something at the bakery that morning or a quick breakfast in our room. This is our very first trip(2 previously canceled ones!) so we are doing Y&Y based on the reviews. I've read that overall they are pretty decent, though. My DS is obsessed with animals, big cats in particular, and has expressed an interest in working with them as he gets older. I am looking forward to seeing how he does there as well. I have friends that talk about doing AK on just a couple hours and I always wonder how that's possible unless they don't take the time to really experience everything there.

UGH for sickness! :scared1: Hope everyone is doing better now!

We love animals and zoos in our house, and AK was a full day park the last time we went (FULL day - we had to be the last ones to leave). But we even liked Rafiki's Planet Watch, which seems to be the part that NO ONE likes. I figure animal people love AK, and will find reasons to take longer. Non-Animal people will do the "Disney" highlights and move on. I'll be interested to see what happens when Avatar opens. Like, if they will extend the park times past 5pm or so in the "off" season, or do something different.

176 Days! All my ADRs are made, we got all the times and dates we wanted. We aren't doing BoG, just the counter service. The only ADR not made yet is Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue-we'll be going on 9/25 and there are 6 of us (3 couples) who want the late show. However, we are all waiting on Free Dining (*fingers super crossed*!) and don't want to make the reservations without it as it needs to be paid in full when booking.

We're going to:
-San Angel Inn
-Hollywood Brown Derby
-Tutto Italia
-'Ohana
-Breakfast @ Chef Mickey's
-Hoop-Dee-Doo
-Via Napoli
-California Grill
-Crystal Palace
-Breakfast @ 1900 Park Fare

and either ESPN Club on football Sunday OR Fulton's Crab House-haven't decided yet.

Anxiously awaiting this 2 week trip!!!

We booked last Tuesday (3/18) for our 180 day mark. We were able to snag a reservation at BOG on Thursday 9/18 for 5:50 PM! We planned to be in MK that day but I was willing to swap with a different day if needed.. Online wouldn't work for me, so I called exactly at 7 AM. That was the first one I asked about. Had 4 dinner reservations by 7:10 AM!

I had absolutely NO problem snagging a BOG reservation. I called at my 180 mark(10 days ago) and got a 5pm dinner reservation. I was shocked, but the CM doing my reservations said that by calling at my window time AND actually calling as opposed to the online ADR, made it easier to secure the reservation.

Made my ADRs this morning and got everything I wanted, including early breakfast at CRT on our first day. :)

We're going to:
Rainforest Cafe DTD (arrival day)
CRT
Akershus
Mama Melrose (Fantasmic pkg)
Crystal Palace
Boma
Chef Mickey's (which I'll probably end up cancelling since we're planning on MNSSHP that night)

Now I just need that Free Dining promo! If I don't get it I'll have to cancel DDP and cut down to just two or three TS res, which will be sad since I've made all these plans! LOL

Just made my ADRs (at 7pm tonite) and got everything I wanted, even a Be Our Guest for 9/27!. There is a BOG for 9/24 and 9/25 right now if anyone is looking.

Our ADR day was Sunday. Could not get BOG no matter what I did. Now I was looking for 14, but did break it down several ways and nothing. I was on the phone and on line at the same time. I was on the computer and phoone when lines opened. I could of booked the castle for 14. Ended up choosing LTT. I think they should make BOG strictly at 180 days out. That would give everyone an equal chance. Good luck, hope you get in. We will do an early lunch. We really wanted the Beast more than the food.

Hi, I'm a newbie!

We're headed on my first ever Disney trip in September from the 20-27th. I'm completely overwhelmed. I booked my ADRs today and there were so many glitches and I got booked for an ADR today. On another call they accidentally changed my room from a Royal Room when I added a night to a Standard.

I'm soooo nervous that something will be wrong when I get there!

I'm still SUPER excited! Just nervous!

Keep trying - I didn't get BoG at first, either. Then one day it just POPPED up with a 9pm ADR. Now, I don't want a 9pm ADR, but I'll take that over not seeing The Beast. So, I'm still checking every day, and either we eat at 9pm, or something better comes up before then. Don't get discouraged.

I'm hoping that there is some "hoarding" of ADRs going on - and once September discounts are out for sure, we'll see a few more open up...:thumbsup2

Are you all signed up on the website? I have found that to be super helpful in keeping everything straight (and making sure I didn't have any rouge ADRs flying around!):rotfl:

Plus, you can go ahead and take care of some of the "little" things that are so fun! We've already personalized our Magic Bands, and I have sorted through the different parades/fireworks, so I know what we will be seeing.

Don't be nervous! It's Disney! You'll have a blast! :cool1:

Thanks! I am all signed up! Magic bands are fun to play with. My daughter's name is actually too long for the band! LOL We expected that though.

I did get BOG today at the exact time I needed thanks to a friend releasing it to me when she got her first choice. It's for 4 but I needed 5 because of my 1 year old. Anyone know if they'll be able to modify it or if I bring her would they still seat me? I'm SOOOOO excited for that one!!!!

ETA....oh do you get to pick which room you want to dine in?

I had no problem whatsoever getting BOG for September. We actually had our choice of times.

I cannot get BOG in September with my party if 5. But, I'm okay with it. I teach my kiddos we cannot have it all and there will always be a next time.

Did you try for 6? Sometimes the computer struggles with odd numbers, they go based on table size and the computer doesn't always know that a six person table will fit five.

It took me 30 years to go...so I just can't wait for next time! I'd be too old! LOL

I figured I would give it a shot. No luck. We get blessed with WDW every year so if not this year, which I will keep trying, then possibly next. I feel truly blessed just being able to stroll down Main Street with our kiddos.

Perfect attitude for a fun vacation! You can always do QS lunch there to have the experience, and it will give you something to look forward to next trip!

I'm so happy I found this board! Me, My husband, his brother, and his brothers wife will be staying at POFQ 9/9-9/16! We got the deluxe dining package and I was able to get ALL the reservations we wanted

9/9 – (Arrival Day) Sci-Fi Diner (D)
9/10 – ‘Ohana (B) , Teppan Edo (D)
9/11 – Rainforest Café (AK)(L), Hollywood & Vine (w/ Fantasmic!)(D)
9/12 – Cinderella’s Royal Table (D) & MNSSHP!
9/13 – BE OUR GUEST (D)
9/14 – Kona Café (B), Universal Studios, T-Rex Café (D)
9/15 – Universal Studios, Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue (D)
9/16 – Departure Day :(

We opted for a 5-day park hopper pass and we also got tickets to spend 2 days at Universal Studios (I'm such a Harry Potter nerd, I can't wait to see the new Diagon Alley addition!!) We had originally booked our trip for the last week in August, but recently decided to switch to September in hopes for FD, then we would just have to pay to upgrade to Deluxe. Rescheduling actually worked out better in all aspects as we ended up getting better dining reservations, a better flight (unbelievable price for a direct flight through Jet Blue), and from everything I'm reading the park should be a little less crowded in September than in August :thumbsup2 I'm such a ridiculously early planner that I'm already trying to work out an itinerary so we know when, where and what fast passes we want to schedule.. even though we have about 4 months until we can do that lol Anyone have any suggestions on which rides we should ABSOLUTELY schedule fast passes for? :confused3 We will also be going to MNSSHP on Friday September 12th (if my educated guess on the dates they will be having it are correct). My husband and I went last year when we were in Disney for our Honeymoon and had a blast! I'm super excited to bring my brother and sister in law as it will be their first time there for Halloween :hyper: I'm hoping there will be a good bounce back offer when we go. Thats the only way my husband will go back next year. I;m loving reading about everyone elses vacation plans! But it is making me extremely impatient for our trip lol
