For us, it's silly - we are doing Akershus - and will get a family picture with Belle. If we then do Be Our Guest - we will get a family picture with Beast. Plus - there is the added bonus of trying the grey stuff and seeing the inside of the castle. ;)
The Beast is at BOG?

The Beast is at BOG?

Yep! They say that it's hard to get pictures DURING your meal, because he doesn't stop. It's a "speed walk" through the dining rooms with his handler. Then when you are completely done, you exit the restaurant through his "study" and get your picture taken with him.

I've heard from multiple sources that you better be *done*, because there is no going back into Be Our Guest after meeting The Beast.

I <3 the cheesy idea of having a picture of our family with Belle on one side of the frame and with The Beast on the other! :thumbsup2

This may or may not get deleted, but I am cancelling a BOG reservation for 5 @9:10 pm - Wednesday 9/10/14. I am cancelling at 12 noon tomorrow central time. I really hope someone here gets the reservation.

Going for just a weekend here! Friday Sept. 26-28, planning to hit both the Halloween Party and Food and Wine! Resort is still tbd, but will most likely be a Little Mermaid room in AoA or somewhere offsite!

AAH! I got so excited - then realized I have a 9pm that night and am trying to get earlier. Don't worry - SOMEONE will get it! :thumbsup2

My dad is paying for all of us to go :cheer2::cheer2:

There will be 16 of us and we will stay at the Wilderness Lodge in 5 romos, from september 14th until the 21 st :goodvibes

Question for those of you who have already been booking for BoG dinner ADRS in September:

My ADR date is approaching in a few days, on Wednesday (3/26). I fully intend to be online at 5:55am, ready to grab whatever BoG I can for 9/23. That's the ONLY day in our schedule that will work.

But out of curiosity, I've been looking for the furthest date out I can currently check (presently Sept. 19), and there's NOTHING available! :confused3 Needless to say, it's scaring me.

For those of you who have been booking your ADRs in the last week or two... How much luck are you having with nabbing a BoG ressie?? :worried:

It was difficult. On my 180 day, I couldn't get anything until our last night, and the choices were 4:45 and 7:40.

We were fortunate and got BOG on our preferred night, which was only 5 days into our stay. We did it online while we waited for the phone center to open at 7AM eastern, which was 4AM here. We had an alternate day to try later in the trip if we needed it, but we are happy with a 6:55 dinner on Thursday, Sept 18th.
Good luck on Wednesday. :)

EPCOT is our favorite park :lovestruc- with AK a VERY close second for my oldest son. He cannot wait to go to school to major in a Zoological Science (Herptology) in 3 years. I think it's funny to read Trip Reports that talk about AK being a "half-day" park - we HATE that it closes at 5pm! It's a FULL day park for us!:lovestruc

What are you doing for Breakfast that day? I've heard mixed reviews on Yak and Yeti (but I've never eaten there). Have ya'll done it before? Good in your opinion?

Sorry for such a late reply. Been pretty sick in this house the last week! We will probably just grab something at the bakery that morning or a quick breakfast in our room. This is our very first trip(2 previously canceled ones!) so we are doing Y&Y based on the reviews. I've read that overall they are pretty decent, though. My DS is obsessed with animals, big cats in particular, and has expressed an interest in working with them as he gets older. I am looking forward to seeing how he does there as well. I have friends that talk about doing AK on just a couple hours and I always wonder how that's possible unless they don't take the time to really experience everything there.

:)Going September 7-14 for our 3rd family trip to Disney!!! Couldn't get any reservations for BOG, but there is always next time:):) Excited about the magic bands-anybody have any experience with the bands and fast pass??

We're in! We're staying at POP from 9/25 through 10/4. Our original plan was to try to change to POR if FD is offered, but I'm starting to get pretty excited about staying at POP! This will be my 7 yo dd's first time to WDW, and her birthday and my birthday fall during our trip. I'm anxiously awaiting the 180-day mark, as I really hope to score both an early BBB appt. and a lunch CRT ADR on dd's actual birthday.

The last time I've been to WDW was September of 2003 with my now-adult children. I LOVED the low September crowds, and did not think the weather was bad. We had one afternoon storm that passed in about 30 minutes. We just threw on ponchos and continued with our day!
