24 Days until our 25th Anniversary trip to the Wilderness Lodge! Magic bands arrived yesterday. Woohoo! :yay:

Pixie dust to all traveling for their Disney adventure! pixiedust:

M.K.

For those that have been and had ADRs, how strict are they if you are a tad late... 5 min or so? Do they not seat you and you lose your ressie and charged the no show fee? TIA I've never been, while I'm usually punctual, things happen...

Less than two weeks to go! I got our magic bands a couple of weeks (maybe more than that) ago but I remember getting another packet from Disneyaround this time on our last trip. Two things are different this time, though. 1. We're driving instead of flying so we won't be using DME 2. We booked through a friend who is a travel agent. So, should I be worried that we haven't gotten any thing else?

We have been late and not had an issue, never more than 10 minutes or so. A few places have a policy to seat you no matter what (Tusker House is one), but if they can't seat you when you do arrive, I would hope that explaining what the problem was combined with your obvious attempt to make the reservation would keep them from charging you.

***25 days!!!!*** We got our Magic Bands yesterday, ME tags a while ago, and are all checked in online :)

We got our MBs yesterday!!!

I'm contemplating making mine smaller, but I'm worried I won't like the way it looks without the gray. First world problems, eh?

I've been late and they usually seat me with no problem. Sometimes it's transportation issues, sometimes rain, sometimes just underestimating the time to get there. They never ask questions and have never made me feel bad for being late. Sometimes it takes longer to be seated if you miss your window but I've never had a problem with that as it was my fault for being late. :)

I know, I have small wrists, but it looks funny without the gray:thumbsup2

I'm the queen of late. I don't mean to be, just seems to happen that way. We were late many times and never turned away. One year I was a half hour late for Biergarten and they sat us, but it took a while to work us in ( just though it was 7:30-it was 7:00) this was of course before we carried apps on our phones telling us where to be every minute of our trip:rotfl: I think within 10 minutes you should be fine, any more would make me nervous

I ended up just cutting mine and keeping the gray border. I got the idea from someone else on these boards. I think it looks a lot better with the gray than without. My son opted for no gray and it's not smooth around the edges and I don't think it looks as nice as mine with the gray border... but he likes it.

9 days for us and we hit the road at 3:00am leaving from MN. I can't wait!

Arriving Labor Day and staying for 7 days! We have the DDP and will be eating a CSM the first night we are there. We have no park tickets this day so it will have to be a restaurant at a resort or DD but I'm assuming DD will be crazy busy on Labor Day. So what's your favorite CSM at a resort?? I'm thinking pepper market?

So I just get home from work & there's a package from Disney Destinations in the mailbox, I get all excited thinking it's my Mickey mail but sadly it's not. It is just the booklet with the dates to remember & the funny thing is the only dates on it are Aug 13-final payment due & Sept 27-arrival day. I found it funny since Aug 13 was a week ago & we've had it paid off for about a month. Oh well at least it was something, just don't like to be teased. I know Mickey Mail will be here in the next couple of weeks. :)

I got the same mail today. Exciting to get mail. My only important date was my check in day.
