I like Frozen and my daughter is excited to meet the princesses in MK but I don't think we are going anywhere near HS that last weekend. We might try to find a place outside the park to watch the fireworks but that's as close as I'm getting! Lol

I'm wondering if this Frozen party extension is going to affect EASYwdw park recommendations. The 14th is our last day but I don't want to go to the park if this is going on! Hrmmmm now what to do?

I'm going to admit I'm pretty happy our planned HS day is the 29th!

I'm actually excited for you. :thumbsup2 (eta: this comes off as sarcastic, I promise it's not supposed to be!)

Here's my problem: I have 7 days of tickets but we're there 8 days. We're going to a MNSSHP so we weren't going to do a park on that day, just relax a bit and maybe go to DTD. If we don't go to HS on our last day (it's the recommended day) then we'll need to go somewhere on our party day. I'm not totally against it, I just think it'll be a long day. We REALLY wanted to do a park on our last day and it'll stink if we don't.

The upside is that flights are more expensive the later in the day they are (and we were looking for any after 6:00) so we could save a bit of money there if we left earlier. We could still go ride the monorail, see other resorts etc. Ultimately I'm letting my brother decide, I've planned everything else. We'll see what he wants to do!

I decided to keep my plans as is. HS is my planned park on Sept.26th. Splurged and got us the premier pass. Might as well take advantage of the extended Summer Fun :) Funny thing is that it is just me and my 10yr old son going to Disney World. He doesnt care that much about Frozen. I bought the premier pass for me :)

Does everyone think the rest of the HS attractions will be jam packed on September 26? We were planning on spending the morning there (through lunch) for our last day. No interest in Frozen in Summer -- just the usual little kid things.

But... would like to do A&E meet and greet if we can score a FP. Is there a board for A&E FP cancellations for September?

We're doing the same thing. Our flight leaves at 7 pm, so we are going to spend the morning in HS. At this point it's too late to change. we have our ADR for our final lunch at 50s. I guess we'll just deal with the crowds. Boo!

Someone started an A&E and Mine Train FP+ thread today. It is for September cancelations.

My plan for the 26th was to spend the day at Animal Kingdom, then head over to DHS only to see Fantasmic, then back to my room. I'm wondering now how horrible the crowds will be when I get there!

And I assume the Frozen fireworks happen afterwards... I wonder if it's worth my time to stay and watch them, or if should beat the mad rush for the busses, and take off before they start.

(Knowing me I'll stay, I'm a sucker for any Disney nighttime show, and then kick myself in the butt afterwards when I'm waiting in line for a bus to my resort for an hour...)

From what I have gathered it will be hard to make it to where the fireworks are going to take place from where Fantasmic is. I as debating the same thing but have decided to just leave after Fantasmic and not deal with the crowds and trying to get a good spot.

We were planning on staying for EMH on Sunday 9/14, I'm bracing myself for crazy crowds now that the Frozen festivities will still be going on.

Easywdw had changed the 14th to a non recommended day a while ago because they added DHS EMH's that day. I'm thinking the frozen crowds will only make it worse. But as of a few months ago, they changed DHS to red for the 14th. I know because it was originally my DHS day and I had to scramble to change everything to the 17th which was the next highly recommended DHS date. :)

I read on the CSR thread that there's a good view there on the bridge near the Cabanas business class buildings (9B). :)

All of these Frozen Festivities have confirmed my plans even more. We're going to spend the morning doing Disney Jr stuff for DD and then a relatively early lunch at 50's Prime Time. Since Disney released the EMH for the 14th, we were going to maybe take advantage of that, but not now. I think we'll spend the majority of our evenings in World Showcase.

14 days over here according to my phone widget.

My one night Villan's solo trip turned into a 2 night with a friend!
We are both dressing up as princesses (hey villans aren't required and every 20 something girl loves a good excuse to go all princess!) and are super excited!

Staying at Pop Century still, got a preferred room. :yay:
