We did enjoy Chef Mickey's! We eventually did get to meet up with Mnnie later in our trip! Pluto howeve evaded us for our entire trip! Next time!

HEY ALL READERS!

I just wanted to let you all know that I probably will not be posting another chapter for a couple days. We have a busy week coming up! Tomorrow is Ken's 33rd birthday! Wednesday evening our girls are performing with their classes at a city wide dance event. Thursday is Natalie's last evening at Sparks. Friday is our date night. To top it all off Ken is trying to train for our local 10 mile race that happens next Monday! I will try to check in at least once a day but I can't promise any more chapters at least until the weekend! Sorry! Hope you all have a super great week!

Chapter 10: Some Enchanted Evening......at the MK!

Date: still January 20th!
Time: 630pm
Place: Magic Kingdom

(note: Ken had the camera and for whatever reason did not take so many pics! )

I waited 15 mins for the server to return with my DDP card so I could leave! I practically ran to the Monorail platform, frantically looking for my family and praying that JenJolt would wait for me! I found my family and we boarded the monorail (I know now that we should have walked – it would have been much faster!)

By the time we made it to the MK it was 640! I left my family and ran all the way to the turnstiles, praying all the way that Jen would still be at the Minnie and Roy statue waiting for me! When I finally got there at 645 she was no where to be seen! I was so upset! I looked and looked and waited and waited and waited some more!

I was soon joined by my family who had just finished having a little adventure of their own! (more about that in a minute) We decided to head toward the castle and see if we could spot Jen anywhere along the way! The sidewalks were crowded with people either heading out of the park or securing themselves a spot for wishes. I was certain we wouldn't see her. I was getting ready for a cry when all of a sudden my glorious eagle eyed husband shouts out “ JEN”! He had spotted her! She rushed over to us and we hugged each other, so happy that we had one last chance to hang out!

Now, about my family's little adventure...well, from what I understand this is what happened. They were going through the turnstiles and Emily's card wouldn't work. Ken had grabbed the wrong card! (We had different cards at each resort, both blue!) The card that Emily had was her room key from ASSp! Not going to get her into the park cause it didn't have MYW on it! They went to Customer Relations and got it straightened out and then came to find me!

Anyway, back to meeting Jen! Ken and the girls headed off to ride some rides and Jen and decided to check out some of the shops on Main St! It was starting to get really cool and I only had my wind breaker so I wanted to go and find a sweater! Found one I did and then we proceeded to wander for a bit and eventually ended up near IASW! I hadn't been on it earlier that day and this was her last chance to get some shots that she had missed on a previous ride. Apparently we were being spied on as my husband had the camera and saw us getting on and took a pic of us!

We chatted, Jen took pics and I put on my brand new Tinkerbell fleece zipped hoodie! So warm and cozy! (I'm actually wearing it right now as I type this!) After exiting the ride we wandered in the direction of Adventureland because I thought that is where my family might be! It was getting very close to 8pm and we hadn't planned to stay to watch Wishes. Natalie is very scared of loud noises so we were only going to see Wishes 1 time this trip and this night was not the planned night! We eventually found Ken and the girls over at Aladdin's Magic Carpet's! They had just had their 3rd ride!

We all walked down Main St just as Wishes was staring and in went Nat's fingers into her ears! Jen suggested walking through the shops to avoid the crowds and lessen the trauma for my poor unprepared little monkey. A great idea! We parted ways with Jen after we exited the park. She was off to find her bus to POP and we were going to catch the boat to WL!

We arrived back at the WL at about 830pm. We went to our room and there was a message for us to go to the front desk to pick up a package! I went down, wondering the whole way who would have left us a package? I got to the front desk and very quickly the mystery was solved! It was our $200 Gift Card! Phew! I had nearly forgotten about it!

I went back to the room and walked in the door just as the phone was ringing! It was my Mom! She was wondering how we were doing and how things were going so far! After chatting for a few minutes I got off the phone and got ready for bed! BED? At 9pm? Yup! I had been up since 6am and I was zonked! I think we were all fast asleep by 930!

We really enjoyed supper! I made sure to get a 5pm seating cause I HATE waiting to eat! Our whole trip the longest we waited to eat was MAYBE 5 mins! I think we will try breakfast @ Chef Mickey's next time!

Chapter 11: We're off to Hollywood! Studios, that is...

Date: January 21st
Time: 7am
Place Wilderness Lodge/ DHS

We were all awake and ready for another adventure at 7am! We all quickly got washed and dressed and packed up our day bags. Lanyards on and First Timer buttons firmly in place we headed downstairs to Roaring Forks to claim us some eats!

The girls had pancakes, bacon and applesauce and Ken and I both had the breakfast sandwich! Yumms all around as we quickly fueled up for our busy morning ahead!

We were on the bus headed to DHS at 8:10am and arrived at 8:30! We waited in line at the turnstiles for about 15 mins until the CM's started letting people through!

We really enjoyed the opening show – very fun! When the rope dropped I knew what to do so we quick walked all the way to TSM! We grabbed FP's for later cause the standby line was already 45 mins long! We walked by Ariel only to see that it wasn't opened yet so we headed over to do Star Tour's! Emily is a huge Star Wars junkie and was super excited to ride this ride! On the way back, we bumped into this guy who didn't have much of a line, so we stopped to say hello!

Our little chicken baby was having none of it so I let Em and Ken do Star Tours together! I had done it on a previous trip so knew about it already! They both loved it and Emily was ready for more! This time she picked me to be her buddy! It was just as great and fun as I remembered!

We then went and found the star speeders and took some pics. The kids thought that it was so much fun and would've kept hamming it up but there was a line forming behind us!

We decided to head over to see if Little Mermaid was open yet. It wasn't being opened that day due to technical difficulties. It was scheduled to go down in a couple days for rehab so I was quite disappointed that we would miss it!

We hadn't yet reached our return time for TSM (the standby line at 9am was already 45 mins and the FP's were for btwn 10 and 11am) so we headed over to get in line for the 10:30 Beauty show! We waited for a only a few minutes before we were let into the theatre. While we were waiting for the show to begin, Ken went and got us some Hot Chocolate! It was so cold outside! I though I had left winter back home in Canada! The hot chocolate helped warm us up and in no time at all the show started!

What an amazing show! I was completely blown away! Fantastic! A must see! I would gladly have stayed to see the next show but we had TSM FP's burning a hole in our pockets!

On the way over to TSM, we found a Photopass guy just hangin around by the Studios sign so we had some pics taken!
