Any local FL DVC owners?

I'm curious about local DVC owners and whether this changed how you approach your trips, size of your contract, etc? I'm about 90 minutes away and make frequent day trips with my FL Resident AP (don't hate me) but I hate having to leave early to drive home, not being able to catch evening...
